Great product, good quality. Don’t rush the install.
I purchased both the design engineer ring 050138 boom Matt sound deadening headliner for two door Jeep Wrangler and the designer engineer ring 050152 boom Matt sound deadening side window trim kit for two door Jeep Wrangler. I can’t say enough about them. They are fantastic! They are not soundproofing, they are sound deadening. That being said, they absorb sound. They don’t keep sound from coming into the jeep. The music actually sounds better now because it’s more acoustically correct. The sound is not bouncing all over the cab. It was a little tricky to properly install however certainly nothing that anyone can’t do without taking their time. Don’t rush it, you don’t wanna do that. You Amazing difference in sound quality.don’t want to wreck one of these pieces because they’re pretty expensive. They are pretty darn good quality and again, can’t say enough about them.

Fit and Function
This is my second install of the product, first was my JKU years ago and recently in my current JLU. Outstanding design and functionality, much quieter and cooler in the blazing afternoon heat

Better than the Cheap "Cotton" ones
If you want something better that the "cotton"/fabric style for your Jeep Hard Top, the foam ones are a step up. Since this would basically be on my Hardtop forever, I wanted something that looked good and would last. I purchased a Bedrug Jeep Headliner for my 2017 JK Unlimited Sahara, but it did not come with the rear, side window covers. The Bedrug headliner seems decent, though I am not impressed with the adhesive they used. I did like the look and feel of them though. I read the reviews online reviews for these Boom Mat Black Sound Deadening Side Window Trim and they were mixed. For ~$100 for some foam with some adhesive, it seemed a bit too much and I was considering going with the $30 "cotton" version instead, however, this would not match the Bedrug liner I have. Fortunately, I found these on sale for $43 (return resale item), so for a $13 delta, it was worth it. Like the reviews say, these seem flimsy and the surface finish does not feel high quality. For my rear windows though, it's good enough. I can say, I am super impressed with the adhesive. Be warned that the foam stretches so when you install these, so not stretch them or you'll have fit issues, and the adhesive is so strong that you cannot fix it. The instructions say to remove your hardtop to install these, however, if you are careful, you can do it with the top installed (I did). Installation was quick and easy. These are very flimsy, so I removed the backer for the adhesive one section at a time. I don't think it will really help a whole lot for Noise reduction and insulation, but for $43 it's worth it.

They work but ...
These units work but there is no rigid back so they are floppy and can bunch up during install. Hard to get edges straight due to flex. Would be better if rigid like Hothead. Good foam though, like I said they work.

Well made but really light material
Rated 5 stars as I don’t think what I write is a negative to the product or company. This foam is super light so I feel it has heat mitigating properties and no sound properties but it’s also pretty small so it may be more of an aesthetic. The cost is kind of high but I couldn’t cut it myself at home. (Note - I only bought the window surrounds) I made custom jeep roof headliners via jeep diy and probably spent $40ish so I am appreciative I did that versus the hundreds for the full set of this product. If you have the money I’d get this but I like projects.

Get the whole headliner set
Bought this to finish the headliner. Just take your time and it’ll go on nicely. Made more difference in sound management than I thought it would. If you’re going to purchase just the top, get the whole headliner and it does make a big difference. Would purchase again

Not bad
They’re great. Should be half the price given it’s just foam… but I’m happy with them.

Not really worth 180$, luckily for me I got if for 39$ from warehouse deals , its alright very thin , and it serves no real differences only cosmetic

I bought these and hoped they would be as thick as the area allows 1.0". But they are not, only 1/2" thick. Will need to wait for winter to see if they are good or not...
