Works great! We have in bedroom, kids room, and by desk. We do not have to get out of bed and go down steps to turn light switch off (we are in the attic room). You may have a problem if you try to put where wireless does not reach. Out of four bulbs we had one faulty bulb but may of been because of putting it in a fan fixture with three bulb spots. When going to sleep put red light on and dim to 1% so daughter can see if she wakes up to go potty. You have to make sure your phone is connected to 2.4ghz signal to use which is not a big deal many things only use 2.4ghz like my tv for instance. Can also use and connect through google. My 3 year old says OK GOOGLE my light pink, purple, green ,yellow etc.... it changes. Can check from bed if house lights are turned off and the scenes and timers are fun. I set mine to turn on at sunset. My kids had a blast changing the colors and putting scenes on when friends slept over. I would suggest not putting in fan fixture. I also shared with my kids phones abilities to control all lights so everyone can use. For those saying it is dim if you put on white light it is not. Or you can try to change brightness. I would definately get again. I enjoy the option of changing light colors and dimness. I love that is so Customizable.

Was on the lookout for smart bulbs to make my home a little more “smart”. While searching through the many options of smart bulbs I stumbled upon the HyperSmart.I'm glad with the result. These bulbs are not only cheaper, but perform and exceed expectations. They can be controlled individually, or paired together (without a hub), to control an entire room or house at the same time. There are premade scenes and scenes you can customize. So you can go from relaxing soothing lights, to a full blown disco with just the touch of a button. I'll admit I had some trouble with setting them up at first. But after a call to their customer service I was guided step by step how to set them up, which was quick and easy. I was also informed that there is a user guide on their amazon page for anyone needing some further assistance. The app itself can be a bit confusing to navigate, but once you get used to it you're good to go.I own a couple of Philips Hue as well, and I can say there is no reason not to save some money and get the same, if not better results with HyperSmart. It's a safe bet purchasing these bulbs.

Just got these new bulbs but was unable to install them with the bedside lights I had targeted. It took a lot of trial and error to determine the issue. I finally determined that the smart bulbs will not work on a lamp with a “slider” type of dimmer switch even though the switch can go from full on to full off in one turn. The bulbs did work in a lamp with a 3-way switch, but I was only able to use the lowest setting once installed.After installation I was surprised to see that when the bulbs were set with a low brightness setting AND a low hue saturation (<25%) setting, the bulbs were only capable of producing pink or blue light. Since these bulbs are for bedroom use, a soft, warm white setting is preferred as blue is often used for daylight replication. I am unable to reproduce the warm, soft white type of setting. When I chose the white bulb setting I found it was a blue white, similar to the light cast by fluorescent white bulbs.The “Hue” color bar is fun, but would be much, much more useful and accurate if it was RGB slider bars. Also, the bulbs are just the slightest bit larger than the Cree bulbs I am using so they will not fit in some of my lamps without buying new lampshade harps.The bottom line: Love the concept, but the bulbs are not ready for prime time.

My wife and I recently purchased Hyperikon's LED Smart Bulbs. We absolutely love them. We purchased both the color-changing and crystal white bulbs, as well as the smart plug wifi outlet offered by Hyperikon. The bulbs not only look amazing, they work seamlessly with the smart plugs and Alexa. Downloading the app and connecting the lights remotely was a breeze, and through the app or your voice, you can change the intensity of the light, color of the light (for the color-changing bulbs), and set "moods." These mood settings are REALLY cool, and what we go to the most. It's basically grouping lights together to set scenes of different colors that blend well (i.e. sunset, tropical, romantic, etc.). I've researched competitors and have had experience with almost all of them, and I can confidently say that you cannot beat Hyperikon's price, quality, or level of service. If you want to completely revamp your Smart Home, or just have a cool light that's responsive, bright, and saves energy, look no further. Hyperikon is the way to go!

I have two of these lightbulbs in different rooms. They operated just fine and I was fond of them until I had to reinstall them. Now they will NOT connect to WIFI again, the exact same network, like I had so easily done before. The request is “timed out” each time I’ve tried. Maybe the lightbulb app needs an update since the recent iPhone update, I don’t know! Did not happen prior. Please advise.Edit: several months have passed (oct 2019 first review—now it’s March of 2020) and I had given up on the lights I have in two rooms and they sat unused for quite some time. I tried again to see if I could connect. Success. The app is functional again presumably after app updates. Still slightly annoyed by the whole thing prior but product working per description and functioning well.
