The most surprising use I have found for my Log Wizard is that it grinds out stumps like a champ. I had it for a year before I figured that out. It's best to keep the blades out of the dirt and just stay in the wood. We use it primarily for debarking large oak and hickory logs and some black locust. It's kind of a back-breaker along with being a bark-breaker, but it makes for perfectly clean firewood for use in our La Nordica wood cook stove.
