The house I live in has a ridiculous amount of greenery (apparently someone that used to live here was *really* into gardening) and it requires maintanence. If I let things go for too long without trimming, the outside of our house starts to look like we have been playing Jumanji in here. Ive learned quite a lot about gardening in the years since we moved in and many tools have been sacrificed in the process. I'm a cheapskate but I hate replacing tools and after burning through 3 or 4 sets of pruning shears in the first year I decided to try these and I am soooo glad that I did! These shears are durable! The dozens of rose bushes that line the fence around my yard are no match for these shears! I don't even really take care of these as much as I should but they still show no signs of rust, the open and close smooth and easy like they should, and the blade sharpens up like a dream and stays sharp for quite a bit of snipping. It makes clean cuts and even allows me to cut through some pretty sizeable woody rose branches without much effort.These are very good quality shears at a great price. They have served me well for a couple of years now. I highly recommend this pruner!

These pruners are just right for me. They are sharp and fit my hand well. As other reviewers noted, an annoying trait I discovered is that the clasp that locks them closed would occasionally close while I was using them. Annoying, indeed. This did not occur when my husband used them though. However, I immediately received an email from the seller asking for my opinion. I told them candidly and they immediately sent me a new replacement pair. I have never experienced customer service as excellent as this before. The new pair work well and the clasp issue is no more. I am extremely happy with this product and the seller. I am an avid gardener and they are used extensively.

Built exactly like the pruner that costs 4 times at HD.So far it's been great.. Just don't leave them out in the rain. It will.start rusting in one day

I have larger than average hands, but find that quality, affordable, sharp, and comfortable seem to be mutually exclusive features in most pruners. I researched EXTENSIVELY before ordering these and almost chose another pair because the price on these made me a bit skeptical. But, since they came with a guarantee, I decided they were worth a try...UNFORTUNATELY... The first pair I ordered worked wonderfully, EXCEPT the rubber gription (I know, not a word) separated from the metal after the first (long) day of use. I was SO DISAPPOINTED, but contacted the company because the packaging said to do so if there were any problems. In no time at all, I received a very personalized response from the owner of the company AND almost as super-fast, a replacement pair showed up in my mailbox! The second pair work flawlessly. They are truly a joy to use and my roses look healthier than ever (albeit a bit water-logged after the record rains). These pruners are truly GR8! Try them! You will be glad you did!!!

These rose trimmers work fine. The spring tends to come off periodically. The hook that locks it closed gets tangled in the spring. But it is easy to fix and get right back to work.Update: The manufacturer kindly offered to refund my money because they thought I wasn’t happy. Very generous, but I’m happy enough. I’m not a Master Gardener. I use the trimmers off and on and they are completely acceptable. I appreciate their offer, and it bodes very well for the integrity of the company.

I like ALMOST everything about these clippers. I use every day. Quality good, durable, easy to use, stays sharp -PROBLEM - the handle is the wrong color.I have a hard time finding them if they drop from my pocket or if I put them down while working outside.Please change handle color to yellow, neon pink, red or other contrast to green! I prefer these to Corona - except for this issue. Thanks!

I germinate and grow over 100 trees annually, and need clippers that work well and hold up while not breaking the bank. These are not fancy but no need to be to do the job well. The handles don't slip off continually, they're easy to re-sharpen, and the handle spring doesn't get all messed up and ruin the tool. They're a good by-pass trimmer and I recommend them over most others on the market.
