Official Certified Solidworks Professional Cswp Certification Guide: Solidworks 2010 - Solidworks 2011 Pap/Dvdr Edition

After passes the CSWA a few years ago I been wanting to try the CSWP but if truth be told I was scared! I've found from going through Segments 1 & 2 of the book that my fear was for the most part unfounded. I found that I actually knew more than I thought. This confidence building alone is worth the price of the book. I found that the videos are exceptional and easy to follow. I would watch one and then flipped over to SolidWorks and do the examples. Marie points out some things that I could do faster and better which is good for test taking as time is critical.If you've been holding back on taking the CSWP then you need to buy this book! I'll comment with my exam results as soon as I take the test.

This book helped me by knowing what will be tested and what to expect. I looked at the book and confirmed that I already knew the things that will be tested in the cswp exam - boosting my confidence to take it. Though the models are not the same, the material being tested is.

When I first got the book, I thought there was another book beneath it, because it is so thin, about 100 pages. Later I found out that's it. It went through the part in the sample exam, again, that's it. No exercises, no more examples, no nothing. I don't think it worth $30 or whatever it is. Frankly speaking I am disappointed. The book on CSWA is very good, lots of examples and exercises, not this one.

I'm the Solidworks Richmond Users Group President and I've been whittling away at passing this test for a while. I spoke with Avelino from Solidworks Certifications and asked for some tips and tricks plus a little strategy and he pointed me straight away over to the book and said to be sure to review it good. I did and especially loved the demonstrated lessons on the DVD, especially good for Visual learners like myself. The book helped me know the style of what to expect and reduced my pre-test anxiety. Ive only gone through the first segment so far with this guide and its helped. It shared insight to the use of equations and shared values which I had yet to encounter, the multimedia cd is very clear and concise. hopefully Ill be ready to take the CSWP in the summer with ease..
