The best book in the series so far!
This is the 3rd book in the Kingdom series & by far the most riveting. Grayson Hawkes faces countless obstacles in his quest to find Walt's secrets. By the time you finish this roller coaster ride of a book, you'll swear you've been in the middle of this storm!Hawk has continued to grow in his role of CCA (Chief Creative Architect) and has just announced major plans for the future. Suddenly, his world is turned upside down, repeatedly. The upcoming Hurricane is just one of many perils he'll face as he continues to search for Walt Disney's greatest secret. Hawk has to weather his own personal storms in the midst of the hurricane bearing down on WDW and has to make the choice whether to continue to search for those secrets at great cost or surrender the kingdom to those that want to take it away from him.If you haven't read the previous books in this series, this book can stand alone nicely. There's enough backstory to provide you with details yet not so much that it bogs down the current story. (But, you should still read the other 2!!!) The intricate ways that Jeff Dixon unpacks Disney history in these books is always entertaining & informative. There are definitely new sights to see and places to explore on your next trip to Walt Disney World. As with the previous books, you can't stop reading once you start. The richness of the details in the descriptions of the various areas within WDW take you there immediately. For those that haven't visited yet, you'll get no greater description of the sights and sounds of the parks. Can't wait to see what Grayson Hawkes will discover next - hoping for book # 4 in 2016!!!A great read - enjoy!

Good - But didn't reach the greatness of the first two for me
**POSSIBLE SPOILERS** I have been drawn into this series and I truly enjoyed the first two. However, this one disappointed me a little bit. It wasn't only that it was missing the light-heartedness of the first two, I get it that authors sometimes need to go dark to reach greatness. (Harry Potter FTW). It wasn't the sadness of the series that put me off so much as much as the fact that nothing was ever really resolved. We still have no idea of what the great big secret is. I feel like I invested my heart and not a little time into this series only to be told I don't get the prize. I kept flipping pages hoping there was more. (Sure, I have an imagination and I can guess at what's in the journal, but it's not the same as seeing it come to life within the pages). Another thing that was a little off-putting to me is probably just a personal feeling. I understand anger, betrayal, grief, but none of these feelings should cause a likeable character to "sneer" at anyone. To me, "sneering" is something done by evil people or characters. Grayson is good through and through and it just felt wrong somehow.

Very enjoyable series!
I took a chance on this series of books by Jeff Dixon. I am a big Disney fan and thought it might be fun to view Disney thru a story-type rendition, and I must say I found them to be very enjoyable! Dixon writes a great story and the series is full of action and adventure, not to mention Disney facts & trivia! I learned a lot of hidden meanings on Disney history, and about Walt himself that I hadn't known before and I thought it was creative how he introduced everything into his books. If you like Disney and stories of intrigue and adventure I think you will really enjoy these books. Now that I have finished with Book 3 I am really hoping for more books about Grayson Hawkes and his Disney empire!

Don’t worry - it’s good
The story this time is more serious, and you will likely cry... but remember... Walt knew that people need to realize that life isn’t perfect, it’s not a fairytale after all, and so does Mr. Dixon.

Storming the Kingdom had me from page one.
Could not put this book down- Jeff had me from page one-He pulled me in with the Disney history, stories about Walt and all of the riddles to solve. Amazing how the story unfolds, the characters develop and how Grayson Hawkes gets himself into one mess, solves the riddle and moves on to the next problem. I found myself squirming, perspiring, and feeling stress as the characters evolved in the story. When a book creates an emotional story that you feel a part of, it's a great book. This was a fun read. Powerful ending and I want more...Sure hope Jeff Dixon is working on the next book. I have read all three of the Kingdom series and can't wait for the next book. There is going to be another book...right Jeff Dixon??

Non-stop action from start to finish
This is, so far, my favorite of the series. It gripped me from the first few pages and did not let go. The tone started out like a clean version of Game of Thrones and the action did not leave me disappointed. After I started reading it, I did not want to put it down and only did so when I was forced to "adult".Buy it, read it, love it, but don't start until you have enough time to finish it in one sitting or you will find yourself snapping at anyone who interrupts you.

The Continuation of Disney's DreM
I choše the rating of 5 because book 3 of the Kingdom series was just as fun to read as the first two books. I feel like I know Grayson Hawks and feel what he feels. We are friends sharing this journey.
