Aura Cacia 100% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil | GC/MS Tested for Purity | 15 ml (0.5 fl. oz.) | Mentha piperita

First, the item that was sent to me is not the real Aura Cacia brand. As you can see, the one on the left is what I received from this seller and the one on the right is from Whole Foods, COMPLETELY different. Secondly, it STINKS really bad. At first I thought it might just be the dropper, but put a drop on my finger and quickly had to wash it off. It smells sooo TERRIBLE. Do not buy!!!

This is an excellent quality essential oil of peppermint and is certified organic as well as, according to the label, being "tested and verified for purity Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectometry." It also clearly states on the label that the source is U.S.I've been using this to help cure an intractable skin infection on our white lab and it has helped tremendously. Peppermint has medicinal value as an antifungal agent and is actually soothing to the skin. I made an aromatherapy oil using about 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil, 3 drops of this peppermint oil, and about 12 drops of an organic lavender essential oil  Lavender Essential Oil Tisserand 0.33 oz Oil , which I rubbed on the affected areas, then "suited up" our pup with some old t-shirts to keep her from licking off the "medicine." It's actually helped tremendously and she's almost well, so this gets an A++ from me. Plus, it smells delightfully refreshing.I'd also highly recommend a book on aromatherapy/essential oils if you're interested in the medicinal benefits of these powerful distilled plant products (usually made from leaves, stems, and buds). They've been an important part of folk medicine for centuries and there are many benefits to learning more. I love Aura Cacia oils. I buy this peppermint oil often. The first bottle I received smelled rancid, like the carrier oil had gone stale. I contacted the company and they shipped me a replacement bottle immediately for free. It just arrived and smells good. Thank you. I also found out Amazon will not take returns on essential oils, so bear that in mind. They are not flammable, but Amazon has them flagged as such.

Yes, im fussy,,,,, I DO suggest you buy this brand rather than MOST others,,,,, There are better,,,,but for the price,, this is good,,,It's not an ounce,,, but it's good. I wish they sold ounces these just go too fast. But Stay away from any no-name brand when buying on line,,,, THere is some HORRID CRAP out there,,,, this should not dissapoint anyone,,,, Peppermint essential oil, is one i've found varies AlOT from brand to brand,,,, They seem to be consistent, I've only bought this 2 or 3 times,,,,, and it seems consistent,,,, If you've ever grown Peppermint,,,,, There are good plants and not so good plants,, so they are using descent peppermint i would say

This peppermint from Swanson Health Products smells awful. Definitely not peppermint nor up to Aura Cacia's standards. I've had several peppermint that I purchased in stores. This is the first one I've had a problem with. The label is off center and the bar code on the back is jumbled and unreadable. I assume it's a fake. Also, it's not returnable. I've filed a complaint. Don't waste your time - find another vendor.

I really love Aura Cacia oils. I got roped into EOs through a cousin who sells Young Living, even though I'd been interested in them for a while, but the price of YL is just too crazy. I started looking for a highly rated and reviewed brand that still had the quality but not the price tag. Aura Cacia fits that bill and more. The oils are great quality, they're great concentrate, and they last really well in the diffuser.I love the Peppermint especially. It's strong enough that I only need a few drops to get rid of a headache or quell nausea. :)

I am a long time user of peppermint oil and also this brand which I use all the time. As soon as I opened this I knew something was wrong and this was not the real thing. My oils from this company smells nothing like what is in this bottle. Shortly after inhaling I got a headache. Unfortunately, it is a liquid and I could not return it. So not only did this make me sick, I am out of luck in regards to a return. This was not a true aura cacia item.I

The product is pure and great quality! I have purchase peppermint for many years in different stores and can tell when an oil is altered or beyond altered. I love the fact is not tested in animals also.I initially received the wrong essence oil; and even though you cannot return the product, the customer service is great and responded very fast and they were very understanding and professional. I received the correct product 3 days later and kept the other oil send by mistake as a sample. I do recommend this product is so much better than the ones I purchase at the retail stores of the vitamine place!

She is pleased with the performance and this makes me happy that she is satisfied.
