Seems very solid/ well made. Heavier than anticipated for being stainless steel, but I think that's a good thing. I suppose I thought it would be hollow, if that is the case they didn't skimp on wall thickness. It's lighter than my marble rolling pin, ha! Very smooth and no annoying "brand name" stamped on it anywhere.

this rolling pin is so smooth and easy to use....I loved making my Thanksgiving pie crust this year...really a must tool to have if you like rolling out any kind of dough
