What is the softscrape coating? silicone? nylon?

Beaters are silicone-coated, as described by a purchaser. By the way, this mixer also accepts older model Hamilton Beach (HB) beaters, but the opposite is not true (older model HB mixers do not readily accept the new HB soft-scrape beaters).

Are the silicone-coated beaters safe for ceramic-coated pots and pans? Won't scratch them like metal beaters?

I would think so..But I have never used a beater on pots and pans..It is coated .

I'm not sure what you mean. The mixer says 150w. If you want to know the actual strength of the mixer it is reasonable for a hand mixer, not as strong as a stand mixer. But certainly capable of most mixing jobs.
