Manukora UMF 5+/MGO 85+ (1000g/2.2lbs) Mānuka Honey

I am a beekeeper in Massachusetts, USA and I know the difference between store bought honey and my own unprocessed honey. This is my second time buying Manuka honey and it is worth the try. I originally bought a ~4 oz. jar for around $16.00 US and I thought I would gom for the larger 2.2 lb. jar. Now I won't be so stingy with the use.

It's an OK product. It tastes like melted sugar with a little bitterness. The texture is not solidify and smooth like the one I bought in Costco which is rated UMF 5+ as well. There is no batch date and best-use-by date neither on the label. Its color is brown also different from Comvita products which is yellow. If you have money, then go for UMF 20+. There is only a slight difference among the brands.

This is my first experience with manuka honey and I bought it for the myriad of benefits it's said to have. I have only used the honey for topical skin/hair care purposes and I did combine it with other natural remedies. I haven't had a chance to try it on a cough/cold/sore throat, but I look forward to adding to my natural remedies. I chose this brand due the affordability offered and I added it a subscribe and save shipment to get a little extra discount.

Love this I got it to make face cream but I also take a tsp daily for health!!!
