These lights look great. Are extremely sturdy. Put off a nice light. I had a issue with a few bulbs and the company took care of it immediately with great customer service. I will buy more of these.

I ordered three of these light sets. Set 1 worked perfect. Set 2 had five bulbs that didn't work on a few colors or flash in sequence like the others, so they are being returned. Set 3 has yet to arrive, so I am hoping they work as perfect as set 1. Otherwise, they may all go back and I'll go for the standard white bulbs instead.UPDATE - Set 3 arrived. Plugged it in to the second strand (for a total of three in sequence), flipped the switch...nothing. I then disconnected set 3 from the chain, and plugged it directly into the wall. Worked like a champ.I re-read the directions, and it seems that you can only use two sets in sequence per application. So...if you have a need to use these LED lights in an area over 84 feet long, you will need plug them into a separate wall plug for every two sets. So now I have three sets plugged into two wall outlets, and have to use two remotes to sequence them up properly.If I'd be able to plug all three in a row - 5 stars. But, due to the hoops I now have to jump thru in order to get them to work...three stars.UPDATE 11/2020 - Less than a year later of VERY light outdoor use, two of the power supply plugs went bad. Total time of use, maybe 30 hours tops.Contacted the company and was advised they do not sell replacement outlets. I later saw they offered solar panels to use instead. Ordered two of those...and they have a one prong plus. These lights are two prong plugs...Disappointing for the price paid.

This set of lights was initially the perfect solution to lighting the roof patio of the home I share with my roommates. We had been looking for a cheap and effective way to make our roof more appealing at night and these nights initially solved the issue beautifully. We purposely paid extra for "weatherproof" lights with the idea that they would be rated to be left out in the elements.They had some small hiccups, such as seemingly turning themselves on randomly or not reverting to the last chosen color when powered on, but I was willing to overlook this. I was still in the honeymoon phase of being finally able to sit outside at night on the roof and read books, play games, and generally enjoy the company of others. In fact, I was so impressed by these lights that I ordered a second set to extend them along the walkway that leads to our patio for a full effect. The daisy-chain properties of the lights worked like a charm and we had full illumination.This was of course until I came outside about a month after setup with a group of friends to find the lights partially responsive. The first set is almost completely out while the second set is locked in a different color that won't respond to the remote. I try the normal troubleshooting of checking the connections of the wires and everything seems normal except the lights won't function. The next day, the second set of lights went out as well and since they are now completely non-functional.I wish I didn't have to write this reviews. I very rarely one-star products. But to have two sets of the same lights fail in exactly the same way is unacceptable. I won't be giving this brand SUNTHIN any more of my money until something is done to rectify this issue. In the meantime, for the price I cannot recommend to anyone looking to actually put these outside. Inside they should be wonderful, but I believe that's a different product. This has been majorly disappointing as my roommates and I place a large deal of faith in the products we buy from Amazon. This is the first time we've been let down to this degree, so here me now: "SAVE YOUR MONEY!"

The LED RGB (Red Blue Green) and many colors in-between are great looking on the patio on a small tree.Waterproof as it has been raining lately and they are still on. Heavy wire construction and plastic bulbs. The best is you get 3 replacement bulbs and 3 bulb covers for FREE.

so far so good. tested the lights and the remote and they work well. Not as bright as I would like them to be but not so bad either. Colors are not completely accurate. Orange looks Yellow. You can adjust the brightness also which is a nice feature. I just hope they last long. I will update if anything changes.

I was unaware that the 'controller' which does all the manipulation of the light colors and blinking patterns was built into the plug that goes into the wall. In order to use the remote, you have to point it at the plug. This does not work for me since I want to hang these lights on the balcony railing in my apartment. The plug will be indoors while the lights are outside. Would be perfect if the 'controller' were situated somewhere in the middle. Might have to send these back.

First impression is that this string of LED lights is made with quality parts. The remote control works well and offers a number of nifty effects. Looking forward to using this device for evening fun.

The quality of these lights are excellent. I do wish that you could do more customization with the series of lights, but they are as described in the add. When I had any questions about the lights, the operation, or anything at all I needed answered....They responded with very detailed answers...very quickly!!
