If I could give more stars I would.
I absolutely love this headlamp. It has a great bright light with an adjustable beam. If I need the light to reach higher up in the treas for example I just adjust. I owned an older model, and the curved glass screwed loose :(. I got in touch with danforce but they asked me an order ID in order to sell methe missing parts. I ordered the headlight through a friend off amazone, and he and I don't speak anymore. Bummer.Compared to the older models, these fit much better, have a usb type C port for charging and has a meter to see how much battery is still there.I don't like how you need to turn the lamp on before you can get to the red lights though. I use these lights to do work on sea turtles and the first white and then red is a major inconvenience to me. Older models can go from off to red just by pressing and holding the on button. Now that function is replaced with locking the light. Apparently people were complaining that the light turned itself on in their backpack so danforce had to create a locking mechanism. I'm also not a great fan of the blue led's on the back, also not great for Sea Turtles. I wished they were red when in red mode too. But then again that boils down to personal pref and how you're gonna use the light. At the moment I own 6 danforce lights, with one missing the glass lens. They're sturdy and perform great.

Paid a little more, got a LOT more
The DanForce Headlamp is a monster (in a very nice way).I have purchased three other brands of LED headlamps on Amazon in the past six years, all of which were highly rated, and none of which were particularly good. These designed-in-China headlamps all seemed to have similar shortcomings - short battery life, poor optics (if they had lenses, they only worked "moderately well"), lousy USB power connectors, weak connections between the headlamp and the battery pack (no strain relief on the wires where they enter the battery pack, leaving any strain to be handled by the TINY #24 or #26 wires themselves). The last one I purchased had a charge circuit similar to the DanForce, but it never indicated the available battery power correctly. The DanForce headlamp has exceeded my expectations.- The light output and distribution is excellent.- It's very easy to connect the USB charge cable, which has NOT been my experience with other brands.- The charge circuit and indicator lights work as they should.- Headlamp, harness, and battery pack are VERY comfortable, and stay in place better than other headlamp brands.Only thing missing from the DanForce headlamp is the ability to swap batteries - the battery case is sealed with four screws, so the only way to charge the batteries has been to use the USB charge cord. This hasn't really been a problem because of the long battery life - I have been using them all morning, charge them during lunch & siesta time, and then used them all afternoon and plug them in to charge overnight, all without issue. They would PROBABLY last all day without recharging, but it would be nice to have the option to swap in fresh batteries if the need arises.

MAY THE LIGHT GUIDE YOU! MUST BUY 2024!
Greetings Fellow Consumers!I recently invested in this headlamp due to being an Amazon Delivery Driver means using hands and both of them, are a MUST. So I scoured around and found this beauty of a BRIGHT, POWERFUL and LONG LASTING solution!CHARGING: Charging is easy, well you may ask yourself: "WHY is it taking so long to charge?" Well It's simply that, it's charging Via a USB-C input into a USB outlet socket (which Type C-C) would have altered the charging speed slightly. So, with that said, be PATIENT and let it charge up, give it at least 4+hrs and just wake up with nothing left to worry about for the rest of the day.COMFORT: Easy to adjust (well that is if you don't do something silly and take the whole band system apart). But placing that all back together and having it adjusted to my head was easy. Once you find the methods of how you will wanna use and take care of it, you may think why don't I have two just as a backup? The other helpful tip of comfort would be to wear a hat, a beanie more so, as this contours to your top back and sides of the head. Baseball cap may impede, or just not work too well.BRIGHTNESS: My oh my, point your head down in shame for just how frightening and awe-struck your neighbors as well as customers may think when they step outside to collect their goods. It's bright, and should be taken as a serious warning. Use responsibly!DURABILITY: This was something I noted to make sure to test and I sure got one hell of a good shower a week back! Held up strong and dried up easily. Tough, bright, comfy, what more can I say to help you answer the call for having trouble free hands to light the way.6 LIGHT MODES/OPTIONS: 1 click will introduce the MAIN light. Which if you rotate either direction (on the main middle light), you can focus, or illuminate larger. 2nd click will bring the two side lenses. (You will NOT be able to adjust these) which is understandable. 3rd click will bring all three to light. You CAN adjust the middle for this as well too!4th click will be a strobe. I have no need for this feature unless I somehow need to scare folks off, or be at some company weird dance party. 5th click and HOLD brings the RED light feature up (hold for approximately 3 seconds until you can hopefully see RED light). The 6th click is a click and hold when no light I believe is on, and it should flash three times and lock the unit from being used, temporarily, until you do another 3s hold to see three flashes again, operation should be unlocked and ready for use). I have ZERO issues with the lighting, it's beyond what I was expecting for the price!OVERVIEW: WOW! A Must buy for camping, fishing, hunting, etc. It's a light for those who really wanna see and not still have to squint. Please make sure to keep this in the back of the mind for the next gift that could illuminate the day and year for those in need.Thank you DANFORCE and thank you other consumers! Photo's (more than likely no video) will be uploaded as soon as I can.Kindly,Will B.
