I am using this scale to keep track of any fluctuations in my weight. The LED lights up so that it is easy to read.The batteries were included and were easy to install. The glass is attractive. The scale is lightweight but seems sturdy enough.

I've used this scale for a few years and it holds up. Accurate when compared to medical scales. Strong. Easy to use.

When it recently came to my attention that some reviews on major websites can be bought or faked easily, I decided that I needed to do my part in sharing honest feedback about products that I have ordered and actually use, since I rely so heavily on reviews when making purchases online.I'm really liking this scale! I bought it very recently as a part of the oh-so-common weight loss New Year's resolution. It is made of glass, which is fine. As a professional cleaner, I do know how difficult it is to keep glass scales clean at all times, (and I knew that going into this purchase) but if having it sparkle 24/7 doesn't matter to you, I think you'll enjoy this scale! I scoured dozens of various scale reviews and was unwilling to pay more than around $20, which landed me on this purchase. So far, it seems to be accurate enough for at-home weighing for normal people. I'm not too concerned if it's off by 1/10th of a pound or not, just with whether I am losing weight consistently. I haven't done any super intense tests of accuracy, but I have used one other scale recently and this is pretty much on par with the other one I used. I just wanted the convenience of having this around all the time, since the other scale was borrowed. I haven't had it for long, but I am liking it so far and will update my review if that changes in the near future!

I bought this to weight turkeys that I am harvesting now (after butchering).There is no on-off switch; the scale turns on when it detects weight, then turns off a little while after the item is removed. But it needs a fair amount of weight to turn on; A 26 lb. turkey turns it on, but a 4 1/2 lb. turkey breast portion does not. I had to push down on the scale to activate it, and then it weighted the turkey breast. It weighs to tenths of a pound, which is helpful, but I am relying on my kitchen scale for more precise weights of the turkey parts.The glass platform is large and seamless. It can accommodate a large turkey (and hams later this winter) and is easy to clean and sanitize. The scale also has a very low profile so it will be easy to store away in a little nook somewhere. My scale came with two sets of batteries (4 in all), which was nice. It requires two AAA batteries to operate, so now I have spares.I can't comment on the accuracy, as I have no way to determine that. But the butcher weight on the turkeys seems right vs. the live weight (77%). I didn't use the scale to weight the turkeys live because I have a livestock scale in the barn, and who needs a 34 lb turkey running around in the kitchen.

First impressions:Attractive, heavy glass plate, includes batteries & some "tips" which are actually instructions. Battery cover fell off and wouldn't go back on...but rests on the floor so whatever.First usage:Initially showed my weight as 102lbs but then I let it turn off and weighed myself again, which showed 99.4lbs (which the "tips" will tell you happens during "calibration" - probably accurate, but I got this scale because I didn't have one... So I can't confirm). You have to stand on the sides of the scale for it to register... But maybe that's because I'm so thin (so have your toes on the top black boxes and your heels on the back black boxes). It doesn't register at all when I stand anywhere else. Might pose a problem for someone who's bigger in size, since it is glass... And might also topple from one side or another. But I don't know.I purchased this scale because I didn't have one since moving in with my boyfriend. I found out I'm pregnant earlier this week and since I'm chronically malnourished (and therefor struggle significantly with keeping/putting on weight) I wanted to get one asap to note my base weight, even though I'm a couple months pregnant and would've put on a couple pounds already (I weighed 98.2lbs the last time I weighed myself).The scale feels solid and decent quality other than the battery cover.We'll see how long it lasts/well it does throughout my pregnancy.

I bought this scale four years ago and it is still basically like new. It looks sleek enough that I don't mind leaving it out. It has remained accurate after all of this time and I honestly do not remember ever changing out the batteries. Great scale.

Tired of my other scale which had special batteries (coin sized) that you had to have a miniature screw driver to access. Choose this model for price point and the fact that it uses triple a batteries, easy to replace. Was impressed with quality and ease of reading result.
