String Lights Hanging Kit,Stainless Steel Globe Lights Kit, for Heavy-Duty & Easy to Install String Light Suspension Kit for Indoor and Outdoor,200ft with Turnbuckle and Hooks

We used this kit as our second iteration of outside patio lights. The original setup needed to be removed (cut down) to paint the house. This kit produced a much better result than the ad hoc first attempt.The turnbuckle/carabiner approach creates a system that can be removed and then restored.The screw based rope clamp design is great for fine-tuning the rigged wiring after everything is up.The hardware is is adequate for 4 rigged lines with a carabiner on one end and a turnbuckle on the other end. Just grab a second kit or similar hardware to accommodate the number of lines you need to rig. I needed two additional riggings (a total of 6 lines).The kit requires no special tools. You'll need a only wire cutter (e.g. pliers with sharp wire cutter in jaws) . They include a wrench for the rope clamps.Our lights are strung on a black cable, so the coated multistring wire blends into the string light wiring.BTW, I was not able to get the parts individually at local hardware stores, so the kit really simplified the sourcing of the parts.Tips:Measure on a ladder and rig on the ground. You can rig one end, attach that end and the pull the wire to the proper length, mark it, and then rig in terra firma!Rig the lines with extra length line to allow fine-tuning after initial setup.String everything to your plan; then go back after to fine tune the support rigging. And finally, carefully adjust after adding lights if needed (this is the hardest step since the weight of the lights will be on the line you're adjusting.If you have a desire to limit droop in the string lights, have more zip ties handy to snug the string lights to the support line.

This is a very good product. I purchase it to hang my string lights. The string lights are quite heavy and total of 96 feet. All the accessories provided in the kit are helpful and I used them all. The cable has an external vinyl coating. I live in Central California and it gets pretty hot here. It would be interesting to see how this will hold on over the coming months to years. It took me few hours to get everything set up. There is very minimal sag in the lines. This was my first attempt and got some ideas watching YouTube videos.If you are first timer please watch the YouTube videos on how to do this before attempting. Would recommend getting additional zip ties as there aren’t enough in the kit.So far I’d recommend this product. I’ll post review in few months to see how it fares.

The set was a very convenient collection of parts needed for a string light hanging However, not all parts were useful or sufficient quantity of them to be able to do more than 4 strings.The rope was advertised as being 200ft, but it was only around 160ft. I needed 200ft to complete my project and was forced to stop the job midway and repurchase additional rope and parts. If I had not already installed most of the components I would have returned them.

I would give 5 stars because the price is great and I hate to nitpick, but my biggest issue is that I need more hardware... the turnbuckles and carabiners are easy enough to find, but the rope/wire clamps are impossible to locate.I'm sure customer service will respond , but when you're in the middle of an installation and have to stop (unless you want all your hardware to be mismatched) it's a little annoying.Will amend the review once it's completely up.

Great kit! Easy to use and works like a charm. You might want to but some extra zip ties. I used way more than they included to get a professional look!

Overall great. Holds up our string lights very well. Only down side is the metal thimbles come with their ends close together, so you cant slip it into the turnbuckle or carabiniers without first prying it open. Would be better if it came a little open so you could slip it thru then just pry it shut without having to pry it open first.

I wanted to string some lights over my deck and patio,at first I went to my local big box hardware stores, and tried to purchase all of the components I needed to hang my string lights,But it was difficult to find everything in stainless steel, and what I did find in stainless steel was very expensive. And then there were some components that I simply couldn't find.Then I decided to browse the options available on Amazon, and came across this kit. It contained everything I wanted, and all components are stainless steel. There were no other kits anywhere online that were comparable. It made hanging my string lights a breeze!I highly recommend this kit.

I purchased the string lights from Amazon. They are really tough and work great. Problem is they sag. They need support. The lights are heavy.So, I went and bought this kit from Amazon. This fixed the problem!The cable is thin but very strong. Using the included hardware resulted in a firm strong support for my lights. It gets plenty windy in North Texas and this cable system took in stride. No problems.FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! The directions say to use two cable clamps. Be sure you do.I'm sincerely delighted with the lights and this cable product.
