I've purchased and tried a few .22 caliber magazine loaders. None of them did a great job, a good job, yes. THIS MAGAZINE LOADER WORKS FOR MY MODEL 41 MAGS. If you have a Model 41, buy it!

I have brand new model 41 magazines, helps a lot seeing they are not broken in. This grabs the bottom prong on the follower, not the thumb knob. Saves my fingers!!!! Very Pleased.

While there's always room for improvement I've used most of the loaders for 22 mags and this is one of the best. I like that you can get it in bright colors because it's always easy to find in a range bag, or if you drop it compared to the typical black color. It fits the mag well and slides easily, the only thing I'd like to see improved is more of a "lip" so you could use just your thumb to depress it. The way it is now you really have to have it held between your thumb and index finger to depress it while loading. That means it's much harder to load unless you have a table/bench to set the mag on while you push down on the loader. If it had a larger "wing" on one side for your thumb you could depress it with your thumb and hold the bottom of the mag in your palm and load.

Works exactly as described although pretty expensive for a simple 3D print job. My hands thanked me.

S&W 22LR mags have a poorly designed thumb knob. It’s hard on the thumb, “sharp” and not as good/easy as other manufacturers… until now!!! As a competitive shooter, Hilljak’s 3D product is PERFECT… wish you had it years ago!!!

This is a good simple tool to assist while loading magazines at the range. Saves the thumbs as you are loading. A little overpriced for a small piece of plastic.

Had to file it and cut out so it fit my model 41 mag (burrs overage from printer). As one reviewer noted it needs a thumb rest on the side of the mag with bull pointed left (free R & D!). As it is, its cumbersome to work.
