Very nice quality!
I put a drop of oil on each spring and worked it in. I really like these. The build quality feels sturdy. They look just fine on the rifle. Once that oil really soaks in they should pop open very smoothly.

Expensive don't like base.
Don't like base the way it's made, and expensive.

High quality at a fair price.
Mounted these on a new AUG but ended up returning them because the folding design was too high to fit under my prism scope and needed to move the scope all the way back anyway for proper eye relief, but they're precision machined and the flip up feature worked flawlessly. I highly recommend if you have the room.

Upper mid quality sight. Perfect as a backup.
Way better in design than their other offering I purchased from them. The sight would only be better if it was made of 7000 series aluminum or titanium. There is minimum movement in the sight in the up position and only slight play when in the down. Do not over torque the steel retaining screw as it screws into aluminum and will strip the threads. Use Lock tight blue if you are worried about the screw coming lose.I would not recommend this as a battle sight backup if you are going to be beating it up constantly. Look for a solid sight or one made from steel or titanium if the application you are using it for requires constant impacts and abuse. With the sight incorporating a standard A2 front sight post it is possible to drop in a match grade front post or off the shelf night sight post.

Very low footprint on the rail
I suppose most sights share the same optical-vs-barrel off-set.I was so worked up if this flip sight would sync (co-witness) with a red dot. Turns out the aim-line of both device ended up at same place.I got the front sight from this seller listing on Amazon, which I'm leaving the review now.I got the matching rear sight (same brand) from another source; could not find it on Amazon. Both (front & rear) installs easily. As many reviewers have pointed out: the spring-loaded button to flip was quite hard to push at the beginning.Repeated pressing does seem to make it easier over time; this is much more noticeable for the rear-sight.As in, after roughly 100~200 presses, the rear got very easy to flip; felt comfortable to click. Whereas the same break-in process only got the front sight slightly easier to flip (vs newly out of the box). Another 500 reps to go, I suppose.I do wonder if the front sight's spring loading was intentionally designed HARDER to press vs the rear sight, seeing how the front end of a firearm could run into things much more often & easily, so need to design against unintended flip-up's.I do like how the sights fold "on itself", so they don't take up more notches on the picatinny rail. This leaves more rail space for your other accessories.

I love these things
I have the front and the back ones. I think my big scope on my 308 is a UTG. I like them. Lots of people are saying things though, Like the button, its tight and hard to push. GOOD! that means it precise and the tolerances were held to print. And the spring tension put on the by manufacturing was done right. Then they say, put grease on it and work it loose. NO! You put grease on yours, If I did ever put grease on it, it would most likely be for below zero hunting. And the grease would be the like kind you find in a 12" tube. And put a dab on your finger/glove and wipe it on the spring. NOT THE BUTTON. This is a great iron piece, and at least mine was well made. And also grease will take the paint off your gun like bore cleaner. Just saying. Also ease pressure on the spring as you push on the button to close it up by pushing the sight gently. It should last you decades? I haven't had to zero it much either. so I can't really report on the front depressing notch and screw mechanism. Mine works? All I can say.

Good value
Love these things. They work well enough and don’t break the bank. I have several sets and have never been disappointed.
