I take my dog for off-leash walks late at night. Once in a while I lose sight of him and have to call him back even though he's seldom more than 50 ft away. This collar is very visible and can be seen quite well in any level of nighttime light I've experienced with it and, although I don't live where there are well-lit streets, I do believe that it would improve a dog's visibility in that situation as well. The collar is made of durable braided nylon strap material and the buckle is heavy plastic. there is a thick metal d-ring attached to the center of it that I think could restrain a fairly strong and determined medium sized dog in most situations. I do think it's a bit short for a medium collar, it can barely adjust to fit my slightly overweight Australian Cattle Dog. And the LED tube only goes a little over halfway around the collar when it's adjusted to it's full length. All-in-All it's great! but I do think a medium collar should be about an inch longer and wish that the led light extended further around the collar.

When we 1st turned it on, we were excited. It was so bright and looked amazing. We had it on tb solid light for about 20 minutes 2 nights in a row. It's getting dim and it is not rechargeable, or any way to change the battery. Fix these issues and we'd give you thumbs up.

yes I would recommend this product... pros 1. it's bright 2. three settings for on flashing off 3. it's yellow and more visible on a dark or black dog opposed to some others that I've seen. has an easy break away clip on buckle like most collars have today. I bought two one for my cat although the small is bit large for him but that's okay it's only for when he wanders outside at night so I can see where he is at, since he is an older cat I don't worry about it coming off of him. and even if it did slip off, it's bright,

When my dog jerked hard on her leash the collar broke the second day I had it luckly I have a friend that took a needled and thread and sewed it together for me so that I could continue to use it. I think it will last now but if it were not sewed together I would have been in a mess because I was away from home when it broke and did not have another collar with me.

Works great as a light but not so as a stand alone collar. The light is bright and has multiple settings. The adjusting strap is a little flimsy and doesn't stay in place. So if it gets pulled on just a little bit it gets loosened. I highly suggest you use this as a second collar for the source of lighting and not as an actual collar, it would just fall off if you used it for that purpose.

This is the second collar I ordered. Both were exactly what was described. Be advised tho, our dog is 26 lbs. we ordered a med first. It worked well all winter. However, we wanted a tighter fit for summer around the boats and woods. So we ordered a small. We found the small to\ be perfect regarding size. My guess would be a small would fit a dog to 35 pounds easily. The collar can be clearly seen at night and does not seem, tobother the dog.

We ordered this for our fur baby to wear on evening walks, and so far it works great! It has two different flashing settings (one a slower blink, one a strobe-like effect) as well as a steady glow. It's easy to turn on or off, lights up nice and bright, and definitely does the job intended. Ours also came with a couple of extra batteries (haven't had to use them yet). Our dog has worn this collar several times over the last couple of weeks, and it's been great! We haven't used it long enough to determine durability and battery life yet. It also seems to run pretty true to size. So far so good!

I have two Yorkies that I often walk early in the morning or late in the evening when it's dark. I ordered the small and they were too big for them. I ended up putting them around their chest and fastening it to their harnesses and it works great. The dogs are more visible so I don't trip over them and people can see us coming.
