ImpactStrong for iPhone 7 Case/iPhone 8 Case, Heavy Duty Dual Layer Protection Cover (Navy Blue)

I’ve had this case on my iPhone 7 for about two months now (waited to write a review so I could put it through some use). I switched from an Otterbox Commuter case that had become cracked and was no longer protecting my phone. Phone cases are extremely important to me as I try to keep my phones until they are no longer supported or don’t work. I have dropped my phone numerous times with this case and the phone doesn’t have a scratch on it. This is a great case for such a low price. At the two month mark, it appears that this case protects my phone just as well as my previous Otterbox which was more than twice the price. I work outside for large portions of the day and am very active. I’ve dropped the phone in various different ways, including screen down, on all kinds of surfaces and the screen has never cracked or been scratched. The only drawback is that it is slightly slippery but as long as you are aware of it, it’s not an issue. I highly recommend this case!!

I change phone cases often, and this one is a very good value. It offers much more protection and ruggedness than a bumper. The side buttons work pretty well. The ports do not get in the way of the speaker or charging jack. It also offers good protection to the camera, as it is recessed into the case a little. The case bulked up my phone a little, but not too much. I also do not think the phone will pop out during a fall or drop, which has happened with other cases. You can also still use gorilla glass or other screen protectors because it doesn’t wrap around the screen too far.

I bought this for my father and it’s exactly what he needed. Sturdy, looks nice, great color and better than the silicone ones which attract a lot of dirt. This also doesn’t get stuck in his pocket. He’s very happy with it.

This case is good but not quite 5 stars. First, the blue is not nearly as deep and rich as the blue on the pictures (which I expected but was still hopeful...). Second, the “silicone” inside is not the pliable squishy kind that I’m always looking for, but rather the kind that more resembles a flexible plastic. Some people may prefer this, but I prefer how the softer silicone absorbs impact and how it grips whatever surface it’s on and doesn’t slide around. I’m very nice to my phones and they usually fail from age before anything else, but have already dropped this one short distances and it “feels” like the case absorbed the impact well. For the price, I feel this case is well built and of good value. Not what I wanted, but because I’m cheap, I’m sure it will stay on my phone for the next several years until it dies of old age like all my others and I’m forced to get yet another shape and style of phone.

This case is well constructed and seems to conform well to the Heavy Duty promise in the name. But that also makes it seem "industrial" in appearance and feel with sharp lines and contours. It is not larger but gives a sense of heft that may not be desirable for those who prefer a "pretty" phone. The iPhone 7 fits snugly and the buttons and openings were precise. I have not drop tested it but expect to get excellent protection and good life expectancy.

I bought this case back in June 2020. I am the most clumsy person with phones and I’m so thankful I bought this case!!! It really is comparable to an otter box case. A few days ago I threw my phone on accident from my truck and it landed on the concrete- my phone didn’t break I have a few scratches on my screen but not a single crack . With how many colors it has I will definitely purchase more colors!!!! I hope this helps as I’m terrible with phones and I have broken so many that it’s refreshing to have a phone case that is durable. My only compliant is I wish they came with pop sockets built in or rings but for the price and everything it’s amazing !!!

the case in general is good, and I will continue to use it for my phone (because it was short money, and still protects it..) but I use a magnetic holder in my car that I superglue the circular metal receiver plate on the back of my case- the holder grips the heat/cool vent, and even with the vent closed, the heat would cause the adhesive on the metal plate to disengage). Within a month, the metal plate and superglue came off, with a layer of the blue-colored paint that evidently the cases are painted with. color thru would prevent this, it is a minor thing, but worth mentioning.

Solid. Protects screen surface better than other cheaper cases

I’m happy with the colour & fits perfectly. It looks more durable than it is. My son dropped it once on the sidewalk and left a mark on it. Then a week later I dropped it on gravel and it took a tiny chunk out of it.
