Best Light Mount for the $$
These mounts have a little better quality control than other copies I've bought on amazon. They are so cheap you really can't go wrong. I measured the interior diameter with a caliper and it came in at 0.960 inches, which is close enough for me. I used the UltraFire Mini flashlights in these mounts, which are a little small so i made up the difference with electrical tape and it worked out really well. I've used larger lights in the past but I just can't deal with a massive/bulky profile they create on the end of the barrel. The beam for the UltraFire lights is a little narrow but you cannot beat the combined weight of the light and mount, it comes in at about 4.5 ounces. These mounts hold up well to recoil, as long as all the screws are loctited down. The only modification I made was that I replaced the thumb bolt with a wingnut, making it easier to tighten down and take off. Also I added two washers: a standard and a lock washer to make sure it doesn't come loose.

Honestly purchased these on accident used one just because
3 star was Givin simply because didn't mean to purchase but hey used one on one of my ARs not bad really don't like the angle of kick out easy install but a bad price I like mounts to line up uniformed this isn't it.

Does not fit 1" flashlight "easily"
These are too small to fit a 1-inch flashlight unless you're prepared to beat the crap out of said flashlight to force it into the two halves of the ring that surround it. They are low in price though and work as long as you don't mind damaging your flashlight to force it into the mount. It also would be nice if there was the option to use a screwdriver to tighten the mount onto your rail, but you can only thumb-tighten it. Nice if you're expecting to have to remove it without tools, but not so nice if you'd like a more permanent attachment. I shouldn't expect much for the price, but I did at least expect it to fit the size of flashlight that it's supposed to.

Work well
These are working well for me, I needed a slightly offset solution for a top-ejecting lever action and this plus a separate riser place got me what I needed. It says for flashlight but I am using it for a 1" rifle scope with no issues. Used blue locktite installing.

Nice offset for the money
Watch the tightness of the screws often if you have a lot of recoil!!!!

vulnerable to tolerance stacking
I bought this along with a flashlight that was also marked 1". One would expect them to be friends. the flashlight was on the large side of 1" and these were on the small side. I dremmeled both to make them fit. this design would be better if it was less than a complete circle with longer screws; which would allow for a wider range of flashlight diameters. Since it is a full circle the tolerance is smaller in both directions.
