I really like this fan. It looks great, the motor is completely silent, and the materials all seem premium. Installation took a little longer than other fans I’ve mounted in the past and the manual isn’t very clear. Steps seem out of order or missing but overall it can be figured out. It’s worth the installation time because it really seems like a high end fan once it’s installed. The only thing I don’t love is it makes a beeping sound when you turn on or adjust the fan speed. At first I thought it was a squeak but it’s actually just a weird digital sounding beep. Lastly, this is also the first fan remote I’ve seen that isn’t completely hideous. It’s actually a clean and simple design, just the way it should be.

Getting this fan working was a long ordeal involving a full replacement/reinstallation and multiple phone calls. Fast forwarding to the current "working" state - button presses on the wall switch works about 25% of the time and the app does not work at all (the app loads and responds, but does not communicate to the fan). Weirdly, the most reliable way to control the fan is using Alexa (thanks Amazon). The prior reviews' comments on installation are fair, the space allotted to fit 6 nuts/wires and a receiver brick is barely enough. The balancing act of shoving all items into the housing while getting the unit to latch onto the installation plate took about a half hour by itself. When I needed support, communications with the company were slow. I initially had a nonfunctioning unit and it took a month+ to finally get a response from them - which was that the unit would never work correctly. But they wouldn't replace the faulty unit (?!). Since they had taken so long to get back to me I was technically outside of my return window but Amazon came through with no questions asked, so thanks again to Amazon. It looks nice and when operating moves an average amount of air on the highest setting. Were I to do this again, I would default to a "dumb" fan, because that's how I'd describe my experience with this one.

Honestly, I wouldn't buy this fan again. It's been a pain. It stops when needing firmware updates and I just want a fan that I can push the button and it will work (like my other two ceiling fans). I called customer IT support, who were very helpful in guiding me to get the fan going again, helping to download the app and update the firmware. But at one point told me to "give the blade a push" as a way to get it going sometimes (which did work) because the blade moved like it wanted to go but then appeared stuck. But pushing the fan blade? How inconvenient is that? I have the 52 inch. It looks nice, provides good air movement, and is very quiet. Also, the wall control is of high quality. I'm giving it 4 stars because of its good features, but the wi-fi connection piece is really too inconvenient for me and maybe others and is really a disappointment.

I was hesitant to buy this fan based on some of the reviews of being a pain and really troublesome to install and get running. I’m VERY glad I ordered this fan. I agree the instructions are not the best, but once you figure it out it’s not that hard. If you have ever installed a fan before this will be the easiest install you’ll ever do. Especially how the fan blades are held in place by the fans so you can easily screw them in without having to hold the blade. Well thought out design. Once we turned it on the power was surprisingly strong, a lot of air flow, more than the 4 blade Hunter this one replaced. Very satisfied and buying more for other rooms.

Bought 3 for my lanai they were easy to install (I bought the hugger models) so there was ample room for the controller. Hand held remote works great. App loaded easily and all three did firmware update. App and Alexa work good sometimes it takes 10 or so seconds for the app to see the fan and control to function. Alexa works flawlessly. These fans are perfectly balanced and silent. If they hold up to the Florida keys on the gulf weather we shall see

These fans are expensive and not very high quality IMO. The blades are not the same shade of white as the motor case, which is admittedly not easy to see when it is in motion, but still annoying to me. But the kicker is the remote, which barely functions. It works via bluetooth so it has to find a connection. I've spent 10 minutes trying to change the speed of the fan or the intensity of the light. They came down and I sent them back and bought three Hunter fans for the price of one of these that are less "high tech" but function and look much better.

Installed took an hour and it did not work. Now I need to take the whole thing apart to trouble shoot the electrical issues. It will be difficult to separate the electrical from the electronics. It does look good installed. Will not work with standard light wiring. Typically wall switch does not have a natural wire in my older house 07-26-2019 Update - I got the fan to work for 4 days. Everything worked from the wall switch but never from the app. Now the fan stopped working. I found the receiver was must hotter than expected. I emailed the company and I am waiting for a response. Too much hassle for the price. 08-08-2019 Update - After some very helpful phone conversations with the Modern Forms technician I was able to get the fan working. The Modern Forms technician was very responsive, understanding, and helpful. the app on the other hand is terrible. It still crashes and basically does not work. I am able to seethe fan through my Samsung Smart Things app. ot ideal and not 100% compatible but better than nothing.

Tardaron casi un mes en llegar. Los instalé y no funcionan. Mi técnico dice que los receptores de señal no funcionan. Qué puedo hacer?? Por favor, ojalá y el proveedor nos responda porque los necesitamos urgente. Vivimos en una zona de mucho calor!!
