Screen Replacement for iPod Touch 5 5th 6 6th Generation Black Full LCD Digitizer Display Assembly Kit + Advanced Repair Tools Set

Bought for a ipod touch 5th gen. Decided to rate because of the lack of ratings on this item and questionable ratings on other similar products. Fitment, clarity, and touch responsiveness all seem normal from what I can tell. No odd lines or dead pixels anywhere in the LCD anywhere. I would recommend this to anyone looking to repair their ipod. My only complaint was the included saftey open tool was rather cheap, the tip snapped trying to pry out the battery. But the product itself gets 5 stars.

Main issue was the instructions, they were not laid out the best.. not a bad product, and may have worked if our Ipod was not so damaged.

Watched a YouTube video and took about an hour to replace. iPod works perfectly now.

I was initially hesitant to purchase this without any reviews. I liked that it came with the tools however all of the plastic tools broke while using them, the only thing useful was the screwdriver. The instructions only explain how to take the old screen out. It should suffice to go in reverse order with the instructions to install the replacement but I was unable to get the screen seated-in properly to the case and am wondering if more thorough instructions would have remedied this. Overall I give this screen 4 stars as it works good and have no complaints on the display quality.

Could not get it to work with an 5th generation iPod with a shattered screen. Had to return.

The tools in this product were very flimsy and one (the suction cup) didn’t work well. The instructions helped a little but didn’t help complete the project. My screen replacement went well but my device worked for a moment when it was completed and then went completely black. My suggestion is to pay a pro. to install the new screen (which isn’t really recommended) or just buy a new device.
