I read the reviews and i had the opposite experience. I got all the pieces and they are of a soft pliable rubber.

Installed on a 15 Tacoma. Easy to put in and take out quickly. Gives the interior a nice touch.

These add a pretty cool update to the basic gray of the center console. The red trim really pops, and the rubber offers strong gripping ability on cups, bottles and whatever you decide to toss in the little catch cubby! To clean just grab the small tab, and pull them out. They wipe up easy and slide right back in.The only down thing is the larger cup holder pad. If you use the adjustable center piece it doesn't quite sit all the way down. You can still use it of course, it's just not quite as secure as it is without the pad.With that in mind I still give it 5-stars!

I’ve never used a more grippy product. Words can’t explain how awesome they grip loose items. The cut is nice, adhesion is good, and price is right. The reason I deducted a star is because the red trim was blotchy on a few of them. It’s not bad, but I know it’s there.

The rubber pieces were a little thinner than I was expecting, so I’m not sure how long they will last. They looked a little cheap, but everything fits well and they are working well for the past few months.
