The 6-60mm 1/3" CS lens is a great value for $24. But it isn't a perfect product.The PI HQ camera has a 1/3" sensor. Yet for a good 40% of the zoom range the image suffers from notable vignetting. (The 4 stars is because it claims to be a 1/3" camera.)If you zoom in, the vignetting is less a problem.I use mine for zooming in as much as possible from 2-4' away to film benchwork assembly activity for tutorials and am quite satisfied. But if you want to zoom wide, you see serious distortion around the edges with a 1/3" sensor... Like that is the PI HQ camera.

This lens is pretty good, I like the aperture and zoom controls a lot. I would have given this 5 stars but it doesn't say in the description that this lens has no IR filter (really should be one included). This works great with my Ribcage modified Yi 4k camera but you'll probably want the IR filter unless you're shooting night shots.

I have been using a couple of CrazyFire SDI cameras for a while now, and wanted a little more zoom on the lens. This lens does exactly what I needed, and I am very happy with it especially for how cheap it was. I plan to buy a few more of them.

I replaced the wide angle lens on a Wyze camera with this lens and it is great! The picture quality is sharp and the variable focal lengths make violin lessons over Zoom much better. I did a horrible hack job cutting up the Wyze Cam case to keep the mount but the rear ring is accessible.

I replaced the lens on my D-Link 939 security camera with this and the image quality is astonishingly good even in low light. Adjusting focus is kind of difficult because it's sensitive so make sure you have a good live view of your video stream.

Replaced the lens on a 4mp dahua to read license plates at 100 feet. Works well enough in the daytime, but night looks over exposed. Probably can adjust that in the cameras settings, but I haven't had time to fiddle much. Wish the original lens want glued. Threads on and fits behind the glass, at least on my camera.

Using this for my Wyze Cam V2 that I am using as a webcam, as the original lens was too wide in the field of view.As was mentioned in a previous review, the original housing does not fit with this lens on. Also the infrared lights on the four corners do make contact with the lens, making it difficult to fully screw the lens in, but it does screw in all the way with some force.I am a little disappointed in the clarity compared to the stock lens, as I can only get one focal length in focus, but everything else even only slightly different depths of a few inches will be out of focus, but am quite happy with the fact that I can manually adjust the focus and the zoom.Overall I am happy with the purchase, just wish the focus had a little more forgiveness.

If you can't adjust the focal length for the zoom range (9mm-22mm) then what's the point? A full zoom to I guess maybe 20% back, I can adjust the focus to a sharp picture. However the focus will not work for anything closer. I ordered two of these for two Pis (one outside viewing my dock and boat, which this might still be ok for, and other for inside, which this is not wide enough) and I'm not sure I can use either. I bought them because I wanted 9mm for one application, then 22mm for another. In both cases I liked the option of zoom adjustment and focus.

I bought this as a replacement for my runcam FPV camera. Its a little large but does the trick.
