Perfect Balance
I, surely like some, go through "sweet kicks", where I specifically desire one type of sweet over another. Sometimes its cake, other times cookies, but in those times I may feel more adventurous, I defer to peanut brittle. Peanut brittle is one of those products that people either love or hate. If you are a lover there is always that specific type that appeals to you. You may like your peanut brittle laden with peanuts and the brittle melts in your mouth or you may prefer the hard candy shell sparingly drizzled with peanuts that satisfies like a candy bar. Then, of course, there are the varying levels in between, which peanut brittle connoisseurs know that this range in between can be quite expansive and subjective. Thus, there is quite a spread in the spectrum of peanut brittle lovers to find the "in between". A peanut brittle that satisfies the delicate balance between texture and flavor. Usually, its "too much" or "not enough" - you peanut brittle folk know what I am referring to: the balance between the number of peanuts, type of peanuts, and texture/flavor of the brittle. This product, at least in my opinion, offers the perfect balance between texture and flavor. I was delightfully surprised when I took my first bite, thick enough to necessitate a modicum of an effort to bite down and break a piece off, but after that initial bite it easily breaks down with little effort and melts in your mouth in an explosive yet delightful, rich, taste. To those of you who may say, "wait a minute, peanut brittle is not known for its explosive taste, after all, we are talking about peanuts." Suffice to say, I was also surprised over the depth of the flavor, an rich taste of butter, butterscotch (at least to my palate), and peanuts. There is always the risk with these products that the peanuts are dried out, or arguably stale. That was not the case, the texture and taste was more commensurate with what you would expect eating fresh peanuts. Extremely satisfying. I did not research how they make their brittle, but I was so pleased I felt like I did not want to ruin the magic by looking behind the curtain. Moving on from taste and texture, the second biggest question with all peanut brittle is its presentation; i.e. how much of the package are actual bars or pulverized pieces. When I opened the package it was not a full bar of peanut brittle, it was broken down into smaller bars, but to my relief they were intact, and a good size. There were of course some crumbs, but I have never seen peanut brittle perfectly preserved in its packaging. Simply put, this is an ordinary risk when a product like this is shipped and handled. I assume mileage may vary box to box. I am pretty particular when it comes to my sweets, because I relegate my consumption in support of my overall diet. Peanuts in general are good for you, but just like blueberries are good for you, blueberry pie is to peanut brittle, and in neither case is either really good for you. Yet, anything can be consumed in moderation and responsibly. Thus, at least in my case, any deviation of diet for the benefit of satisfying an urge for something sweet, the juice must be worth the squeeze. This peanut brittle makes it well worth the calories. Just remember to try to save some for another day. If you pick this product up, let me know if you agree.

Fresh, soft, yummy
Fresh candy. So soft and melts in your mouth. This brittle does not stick to your teeth, is so light and airy, flaky and delicious. Perfect amount of peanuts to brittle. I haven’t had brittle in years. I have sciatica and can’t get out much so I had to order this for a gift, I was not disappointed. I was surprised how fresh it was. 5 ounces of brittle is a good size, I kept asking recipient if brittle was fresh, they shared some and I was blown away.

Severely disappointed in quality, value and taste.
Peanut brittle, as the name implies should be brittle, not gummy. Flavor was so-so, definitely not the See's candy i remember from childhood. The cost was pricey for the small amount of candy and shipping and taxes cost.more than the product. Do not buy! Do not recommend! EDIT: I may have discovered part of the problem - there is a marking on the ingredients label that says, "REV020923". - If this is the date manufactured? That was over 2 and a half YEARS AGO! NEVER BUY FROM THIS VENDOR AGAIN!

Very flavorful and crunchy!
See's peanut brittle is so delicious! I love that it is in small pieces and acts like a small snack that you can finish in a few minutes. The flavor of this brittle is intense! It is also super crunchy. Be careful if your teeth are weak because this brittle is hard. Also it is sharp on the edges sometimes because its broken pieces.
