Cutsie, too dark to be a highlighter
I bought this after seeing a youtuber rave about it. It came in perfect condition, though the way it was packaged, it could have easily broken.I find that when I try to take a brush to get product on it, nothing happens no matter how many times or how hard I swipe the brush. I've resorted to taking a nail tool, scissors would work as well, and scraping the product very lightly so the product collects in bunches, then i dab my finger on the loose powder and add it to my bronzer on my cheeks.I am NC25 in Mac, 120 in Makeup Forever, and this is way too dark to be a highlighter for me. It looked as if I took blush and put it above my cheek bone.It does, however, look amazing and adds a wonderful luminosity when I add it under my cheek bone. The next one i'm going to get is Moonlight Pearls, and I can't wait! I should remove 1 star for having to scrape the blush to be able to use it, but I won't because it does what it says it will do and I love it!

Great product!
I love this highlighting powder. At first use I was a little irritated as it appeared no matter how hard I was rubbing the powder with my highlighting brush nothing came off. Well, it doesn't show on the brush but when you brush it over your cheeks, chin, etc. a beautiful glow just appears. It just isn't visible on the brush but be assured it is lovely on your skin. It isn't glittery or too shiny, just a perfect glow. I'm glad I ordered two colors, they are just different enough to be necessary to better highlight your skin to the color of your outfit. Highly recommend this product. Lasts all day too, can't beat it especially for the great price!

Finally a great product for olive skinned asian ladies
Biggest bang for your buck. I have olive skin and a pretty decent complexion. Getting the right highlighter is important because most highlighters don't show well or look tacky when applied on my skin. This one is different.Pros - Even application, great color, easy to apply and lasts long. I apply a tinted moisturizer, some blush and then dab a little of this product against my cheek with my fingers and am ready for a night out in minutes. This routine makes me look like I've been working on my makeup for hours to achieve that perfectly balanced glow. A little goes a long way so I'm sure I'll use the product for a long time.Cons - Looks inexpensive and the grains feel a little rough. I use my fingers to apply to help the product go smoothly against my skin.

good product, cheap packaging...
For the price, this is really good stuff! Although the Amazon price was higher than my local drugstore, I was willing to pay it because my local drugstore sells out of elf products very quickly... The product comes in a flip-top compact, and mine was cracked at the hinges, and immediately broke the first time I used it. It still closes securely, but when I open it, the top comes off. Not a big deal to me as long as it closes after use... I don't want shimmery powder all over my other makeup! As for the product itself, it is a really good, subtle highlighter. In my experience with other highlighters, they can go on too heavily very easily. Not so with this one. In fact, when you swipe your brush across it, it looks like you barely picked up any product. Trust me, you definitely have product on the brush. It dusts on easily, and doesn't fall off the brush to other areas of your face. You have a nice, subtle sheen right where you apply it. It is not glittery at all, more of a pearly glow that I really love.I've read other reviews talking about the other two shades of this product, but this one is best for my skin tone. I have a light tone with a little bit of reddish undertone. This product is a peachy pink, not white or translucent, so it isn't too light on the skin. I really like the effect it gives, even for a lighter, daytime glow.

Elf is the cheapest makeup that won't hurt you
If you're looking for the cheapest highlighter out there, Elf is great. I think it's especially suited for middle school and high school kids who are interested in trying out makeup but have no money or experience. Anything cheaper than Elf, and you're going to start getting into products that burn your skin and cause you to break out in hives. This highlighter specifically is extremely unpigmented and light, I recommend dampening the product and applying heavily, then blending out the harsh edges once you've achieved the vibrancy you want. If you're looking for something of actual quality, go to Sephora and shell out $25 bucks. But if you're on a budget this is great, just be prepared to put a little effort into getting the look you want.

Great highlighter!
This is the first time Iโve tried the elf highlighter & I really like it! Itโs easy to apply & gives a glow to the skin without too much shimmer. I use it on my cheekbones & under my browsโฆ better than expensive brands I tried! You canโt go wrong with this price point & had no itchy or allergic reaction as I have very sensitive skin.๐

Pretty Awful
Awful product... Not sure if my particular highlighter was just old or if you are supposed to rub the s*** out of it to get any product. The quality of this product is crap. Not creamy in the least. Cannot use with a brush as the brush won't be able to pick up any product. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

Not so impressed???
So, I read the reviews and decided to give this highlighter a chance. I was really looking forward to using it as a contour highlighter. Unfortunately, my experience with this product didn't turn out like most of the reviews I had read...I was sadly disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch?? I'm not sure? It's not a creamy or lightweight "baked" blush...it's a very, very hard and dense blush and I have to rub my high quality contour brush over the top of it extremely hard and multiple times in order to get any of it to come off on it, and then after all of that work it barely shows up on my skin. I have a light skin tone with an olive undertone. Coming out of a very long winter (hence no suntan) I would have thought it would've showed up no problem. I am someone who does realize that all items aren't going to work the same for all people so I am chalking this up to one of two things: that I got a different batch, like I said before, or 2) that this is just one of those times that I am in the minority for this product working for me personally. I will say that the product is a beautiful color in person and that if I could get it to come off on the brush correctly, I am sure it would be beautiful on.
