It's the best! Bought it on Amazon because I cant find it locally. Love this oil, a few drops transforms a meal :)

The flavour of this is great, and perfect for gyoza. I like to put mine in soy sauce, with some spring onions.The chili oil mainly tastes like toasted sesame, but with a little kick of Japanese chili. I recommend, also pairs well with meats and many rice-based dishes!

This chili oil is a Chinese type of oil. It has a strong sesame smell as its base is probably sesame oil. The spice tastes similar to cayenne. This is NOT the same chili oil most Japanese dishes use. I mistakenly bought it thinking it was the same type I used while living in Japan. It’s not. Japanese chili oil is made with Japanese chilies, is lighter, hotter, a bit sweeter, and does not have a sesame smell or cayenne taste. This oil is still decent, but if you are familiar with Japanese food, you will instantly know the difference. No fault on the venders part - the name is clearly labeled in the photo.

Excellent flavour. A little goes a long way. Will definitely buy again. You don’t need much to pack a punch.

I love this oil just think you don’t get much for your money but it does stop me from buying it that’s how nice it is.
