WOW Best Thing Since the Wheel
Well I am a life long user of buck knives. But I too found it more convienant to carry a ( work knife) a tactical, as well during my day. But low and behold I found this for my buck 110 and folks. It's the best idea since we invented the wheel. I now effortlessly open and close my 110 one handed. Have had it on my buck for nearly two years and absolutely no issues what so ever. If you love your Bucks, but need ease of a tactical. This is the holy Grail for you.im a maintenance engineer and use my Buck very often. And it does age with the knife folks so it isn't a eyesoer on a well used knife. But beware it is made for a thick spined knife such as Buck110/112/55 series.

Just what I needed!
This this was surprisingly good! I've had it on my buck knife for years now and it hasn't loosened or broken in any way shape or form and now I can easily open my knife with one hand, One of the best knife investments I've ever made

thumb pick
one of the set screws strip out right off, but still holding. other picks have just a little larger set screws would help. also if cutting plastic or paper of length set becomes an obstical. but it does it's job for one hand operation!

Didn't fit, but my fault entirely.
I bought this to attach to my Case XX Sodbuster Jr. I didn't even think about the fact the blade on a Buck 110, for which it is designed, is quite thicker than the Sodbuster. Well, I tried to put it on and the set screws were too short. I will either find new screws or try to shim it with some brass sheeting. The tab is very well made. The screws were threaded correctly and ran smoothly. The included Allen wrench fit the set screws snugly. The stud itself had a nice thickness and radiused edges so you could get your thumb under it without a sharp corner. It is also brightly polished. Overall a well made product. Sense I have it to spare, I may get a Buck to put it on. Would recommend.

Doesn't seem to work well
The ad shows the item attached to a Buck 110 knife. I bought it for my Buck 110. The Bucks have a pretty strong lock spring/bar and this little do-dad just won't stay on the knife while applying enough thumb pressure to open the knife. I tightened it down as hard as I dared so as not to twist the hex wrench but it still wouldn't hold. It might work on a smaller, lighter, weaker knife - just not a Buck 110.

Works and looks great on Uncle Henry knives
Easy to install and fully functional.

Well made, low profile
The thumb bar is very well made and easy to install. It is slim with a low profile, but may not be large enough for your knife. I chose it because it has two set screws, and I will secure it with a little loc-tite. The thumb bar does allow me to open my knife with one hand.

It fit
I gave this a 4 star because the brass and screw were fine.
