Good product
Good quality, look nice, reasonable price. They are thin and stack nicely. Haven't dropped one yet so I can't say if they are durable or not.

Perfect for me
I love these dishes. They are so lightweight and yet very sturdy. The glass is also easier to clean than a lot of materials I have had in the past.

Nice plates
Bought 2 set. Have a big family. These plates are very nice. Little smaller than my old mismatched set. But serving size is still acceptable. Have dropped a few and they didn't break.

Corelle set gray
I moved away from the extra heavy ironstone ceramic ware and to Corelle. I have purchased several different patterns... but I really loved the subtle, soft gray of this set. The gray is soft and I would say SLIGHTLY taupe gray - so less blue gray, very slightly brown gray - in case that is super important to you. Looks great with the frost white pieces I have. What is the greatest thing about Corelle... several things... lightweight, but nearly unbreakable (they WILL break - but you gotta really hit it just right or try super hard)... takes up very little space because they are thin. REALLY easy to load and unload into and out of the dishwasher. There is a pattern and a color for everyone. The older I get, the easier I like things. I will say that you will want to invest in some plate hotpads. One of the side effects of a thinner plate, it transfers heat really quickly. Small price to pay for such ease of use.

Versatile, Lightweight, Durable Dishes Made in the U.S.A.
We had a Corelle set of dishes that was close to 20 years old however, some of the ceramic mugs that came with that set were chipped. We passed on some of the dishes and bowls and decided to upgrade. I was happy to find an 18-piece service for 6 Dinnerware set as a lot of sets just have 4 place settings and I needed more. Since receiving this new set I found I can order additional pieces like separate dinner plates luncheon plates (that were not a part of this set) cereal bowls and serviceware from the online Corelle store. So, I have been able to add to my set. These dishes wash up well in the dishwasher too. They are made in the U.S.A. too so it keeps American workers employed. I am satisfied with the purchase and hope to get years of use out of them. My son also has a set of Corelle dishes he has had for years.

A quality purchase
All the durability I know from my parents having this brand of dishes. It was very difficult to find a pattern that was not from the 90’s. I love the quality and light weight of these dishes. Washes well in sink or dishwasher. Would purchase again. Great quality for the price.

Here are 3 reason you should buy from this brand
I can’t say enough good things about Corelle brand products. If you are deciding whether to get Corelle, I would strongly advise it, and I’ll tell you why below:Reason 1 - This dish ware lasts forever. These do not stain, hold odors, chip, scratch, and have only been broken by my kids (and I’ve dropped them myself too, just picked them up like nothing happened) and the painted on design has yet to come off. I’ve had these for about 4 years and they still look incomparable to this new set I am reviewing. Only way you can tell is the backside has a different logo.To further explain how long they last, my mother is in her late 40’s, and my grandparents have the same Corelle dish set from when my mother was a child. They are the plain white set and the white is as bright and vibrant as the white parts in my set. Even the logo on the bottom is still there. Only difference is my set has a design.I plan on keeping these until I die. They are extremely durable and never age. I bought a neutral design that will most likely not go out of style, and if you plan on buying a set for the long haul, I recommend buying one that can be stylish decades from now. And unless you don’t have kids, I would recommend buying spare dishes in case they do break. I have 14 big plates, 14 small plates and 13 bowls with 4 of each in an unopened package.Reason 2 - these dishes take up very little space. They stack neatly and assume a small profile in cabinets. Great if you don’t have a lot of kitchen storage.Reason 3 - besides the cheap ceramic mugs in some of Corelle’s sets, most all of Corelle’s products are made in the USA. With buying these, not only are you helping the environment by not having to buy dishes ever again which uses energy to manufacture and ship to you, but these don’t have to go on a boat from another country to get to you. You save a lot of gas from them being manufactured here in the U.S. Additionally you are supporting domestic production by supporting companies that pay the workers who run an maintain factories. If you want to buy more products like these, Corelle is part of a company that owns other brands like Pyrex. Buy glass storage containers that you can reuse forever without having to use the cheap plastic food containers that stain and you have to replace every once in a while, and also can leak chemicals into your food. The only thing you have to replace are the plastics lids, which you can recycle. But cheap plastic containers have lids too, so in the end you’re saving money and the environment. Thanks for reading!

corelle plates
I ordered these plates for my granddaughter as she was having a problem with dishes getting broke. I know these plates are not unbreakale but they do carry a higher tolerance to breakage. So far so good.
