REXQualis Most Complete Starter Kit Base on Arduino MEGA 2560 w/Detailed Tutorial Compatible with Arduino IDE

This was a great product when it was in stock, a quality arduino clone with no obvious issues. Some engrish in the instructions but, oh well, the price is great and the quality isn't shabby. Perfect for a kid who likes to go a bit far and use a lot of I/O. A kit based on raspberry pi pico might be a better idea these days, however. Perfect gift for a 8-12 year old to get him into tech so he, too, can later on in life be disappointed that all the tech jobs go to Indians.

This kit contains far more than it is valued at and is definitely worth the investment if you are thinking about robotics/mechatronics and/or control systems integration. The problem with many non-Arduino brand kits like this is that they often are very cheaply made and sold cheaply as possible. However, upon first inspection of all the parts in the kit, I was extremely satisfied with the quality, workmanship, and soldering of all the components and have so far received no issues. By far, one of the best starter Arduino kits you can hope to find for a great value. The large array of sensors and components allows you to take on many starter and intermediate projects. Do note, however, that this kit does not contain many of the motors/servos that you would need for any robotics projects and is more suited to adding on to an existing robotics project. The tutorials are fairly rudimentary and what you would expect to find in a starter kit, for more complex applications, I encourage you to look online as most of it is self-taught. Overall, an excellent product for the price and very hard to beat in terms of value from other vendors.

Everything was ok. I tested the Mega board. It works fine. For testing the numerous things in the kit, I will need some more time... But I am very confident. Thank you.

It's a great set with tons of options and possibilities. There are three reasons I took a star off: 1. in this modern era, no one is using CD/DVD's anymore, so I had a hard time getting the data of the disk. 2. The information on the CD/DVD is missing the arduino IDE software, though the manual does provide a link to it. 3. Overall, i think the CD/DVD could have done with a better user interface and menu structure. But the manuals are clear and have sufficient imagery to explain in an easy way how to use the components. The projects are fun. And there is tons of stuff to play with. So overall a great set.

I wish I had this kit when I was a kid. I wanted a kit to learn the Arduino platform and start experimenting with various microcontroller devices and applications. The RexQualis kit was the most reasonably priced I found and I have not been disappointed with it so far. The tutorials are clear enough to build the project and I have tried a few so far. The CD also comes with data sheets for the kit devices, which is useful for learning more about all the parts. Note this is not a robotics kit but a product to learn the platform, experiment with various different devices and sensors, and use to prototype potential production applications. You are not going to build a finished product with the kit, though you could use the Arduino clone board and other devices in a complete application.

As i said in the title, i order a LOT of RexQualis products because they are high quality and it really feels like the company cares a great deal about the learning experience when learning or teaching electronics. I have been learning a lot with the help of their Mega2560 kit. these parts are all high quality. I have purchased other kits and had not so much great luck with some or most of their items but that is in sharp contrast to how much effort RexQualis puts into their products. If you want good high quality products for your electronics projects or if you are new to electronics then RexQualis is for you. I plan to make some videos showing off some of the projects im working on with RexQualis stuff.

So my 9 year old wants to build robots. After talking to the engineers at work they recommended starting with the Arduino platform. This kit came with everything you need to learn about arduino. It includes lots of different sensors to play with along with the code to make it work. He is still too young to do everything on his own, but we have been doing the simple tutorials and within an hour we had a fan running and coded it to turn on and off using a photo cell. On our second day we were programing the LED Matrix to make smiley faces and the passive busser to play 3 Blind Mice. This kit is going to be fun for me as well as him! If anything got confusing we just went to Youtube and there are literally thousands of Arduino Projects.

This starter kit for the Arduino Mega 2560 has everything that you could need for simple projects and class assignments. It comes with instructions on a disk that is very helpful and has a complete index of all the parts inside the kit. This is a good project to get kids introduced to building a simple robot using the instructions. Overall, I would say this is a very great purchase.
