Reliable reviews! Very pleased with this choice. It's smaller than my last thermometer, far easier to operate, and has the full functionality with ear, forehead, and ambient temperatures. And the all-important requirement of fever alarm. It seems accurate when I tested it out on each of our body temperatures and comparing the room temperature measurement to our digital room thermometer/hygrometer. Also possesses the audible beep and backlit screen.I wouldn't recommend using this to test any liquid temperatures. That's how my last one has broken, the kids were using it for 'bored experiments'!Impressed that it also comes with a little storage pouch and the batteries.Good model, well made.

It is super easy to use, although I did have a few teething problems setting it up for the first time; but it seemed to resolve itself, so that's fine. My 4 year old uses this, with ease. That is how easy it is to use.The backlit display is useful too - it shows red when there is something wrong! My 4 year old understands that as well - red = bad, green= good. So far so good. The ear bit is useful if you want to double check, which I did. I can't see me using that function too much given the forehead function though to be honest. And it knew my coffee was boiling hot, that got a RED warning alright! You don't have to switch it off, it does that by itself, which is good as since I had my 4 year old, my brain has never recovered along with my memory. That's one less thing to remember, or not. My husband is impressed too. We have talked about getting one for ages, and I'm glad I have. I just couldn't justify the expense of a branded one, but reading reviews, and now having tried it, this is just as good in all honesty.

I looked for thermometer as my previous one stoped working, and thermometer especially in winter season is very useful. I didn't want to spend too much money on it because I believe that branded expensive one do exactly the same job. It's just thermometer isn't it?I chose this one as it has decent price, got FDA certificates , ear forehead reading mode, and very useful object temperature reading mode especially for someone who has children, and ambient reading mode (but i think most of people take ambient temperature reading from thermostat/home thermometers) which is just additional feature.Quality of materials is really good, design is ergonomic and its really easy to use.If you looking for decent thermometer and don't want to spend lot of money for branded products which do same job, you can definitely choose this one.

First of all the product is badly designed. You'd thinking pressing start would turn it on. Nope, you have to press memory, to select 1 of 20 save slots of readings. When you first switch it on, you have to manually select C/F. There is apparently a silent mode, which is activated by pressing down the MEM button for 6 seconds. But holding it down for 10 seconds does something else, or nothing. As I could not get silent mode to work. And I couldn't switch between c/f again.When the screen is lit, readability is excellent. However, it randomly turns off the back light during measuring. No way to control the back light.The temperature reading is inaccurate. It thinks my hands are as hot as the inside of my mouth. Sticking my hand inside my mouth I beg to differ. There is no way to calibrate either. One wonders why it shows "lo" rather than actually giving an exact temperature. I suspect they've rounded the sensitivities so it's clustered around 37 as a midpoint.There is no ambient mode, the product page says there is. But no mention in the manual. Its also hard to see how such an ambient mode would work, since infrared thermometers are targeted, and it refuses to give exact readings below 35.Also I had trouble with the ER1 error. Apparently that is caused by ambient temperature below 16C. So it refuses to work. Well I'm sorry but that quality is insufficient. Many other hand held infrared thermometers work just fine down to 0. So I have to switch on the central heating before I can take a temperature? Lol.All in all, I bitterly regret this impulse buy from an Black Friday Week Lightning sale and cannot return the item fast enough.

Really pleased with this purchase, I tend to prefer ear thermometers so this one was exactly what I was looking for but I like that it had the other functions too. Instructions were clear and easy to understand, it comes in a lovely pouch to help keep it protected and I was really pleased that it came with batteries too, I felt that was a nice touch that you don't find all that often. Also I was pleasantly surprised to find the 2 year warranty card inside the box, which is reassuring if anything were to go wrong with it. Works well, readings seemed accurate and it is comfortable in ear which I find is most important for kids especially.

Brought this in December 2019. Has been working very well and is easy to read.However over the past week it has only been registering exceptionally low temperatures. Apparently my temp is 29.3 degrees Celsius. We have done nothing new to it to make it stop working

As we have children we thought it was important to be able to check their temperatures without having to visit the doctor and use a thermometer that was easy to use and with little discomfort to our children.So we opted for an infrared thermometerI like how easy it is to measure the Ear as well as the foreheadI like that it gives the ambient temp as well as being able to measuring drinks etcI like that you can switch between oC and FI really liked that it came with battery’sI like the protective carry caseMost of all I like that it saves time and is very easy to use due to the clear instructions on the box and leaflet..
