Dash Cam Suction Mount - Windshield & Dashboard Suction Cup Mount Holder/w Various Joints for Yi/Rove/Rexing/Falcon/Old Shark/VANTRUE/KDLINKS/WheelWitness/...(On-Dash Cameras Suitable)

I needed a way to mount a rear-facing Rove dash cam in a Subaru Crosstrek. I searched around and found this one. It took a few of the connectors and part of the solid mount that came with the camera, but I was able to mount it on one of the tiny glass windows behind the rear seat. I almost gave up after about a half hour but then it hit me how to make it work. It is very sturdy and we'll see if the suction cup holds in the heat (it has a 3M sticky mount as an alternate). Works better than zip ties mounted to the back of a rear seat headrest! Well worth the money. Very adjustable and solid when all the joints are tightened.

I needed to replace just the Camera to mount part of my dash cam and while I couldn't find just that piece I ordered this as it has all the extra pieces (which I do not need). I took the 1 out that I needed and the "Suction" mount and installed it onto the windshield. While it did seem that it held very well, keep in mind these are the "Sticky" suction mounts that everyone seems to be going to now a days, and while it does hold the camera (Very light Cobra HD Drive dash cam) it isn't holding because of a suction function only because the pad is so sticky that it just kinda sticks to the windshield. The biggest downside I see to this is that the "Mount" for lack of better wording, does not pull tight against the suction cup making the mount/camera change position with any bump in the roadway and not keeping the camera facing level but constantly changing its "Tilt" or "Rotation" and also makes the video "Jump/Jerk?" around when traveling roads that are not very smooth. All in all I am happy with the purchase as it did keep me from having to buy a new dash cam just to replace a part that got fragile and broke but if it gets worse on the camera video I will be finding a way to either remove the "Sticky" of the suction cup of finding another solution to the problem.

The suction cup mounts to a variety of connection types via a screw collar. The problem is that screw collar has to be force over a ball attached to each of the attachment types. Not all the balls on the attachments are the same size, nor are they all round. The one I needed was warped into an egg shape. However, when I tried to force the screw collar over an alternative attachment, it lots its ability to hold that ball/attachment to the suction cup. It is a bad design and low quality materials that warp in transit in early spring. Found another solution as this is junk design and material.

Was skeptical about purchasing this even tho it said that it would work with 90% of dash cams. The Nexar websites suction cup replacement was more expensive and was out of stock. I bought this and it is a perfect fit, so if anyone else has the Nexar Scosche dash cam, this is a good and less expensive alternative.

This was to replace the suction cup on a dash cam that my uses in his OTR truck. Could not get the manufacturer to answer email so tried this product. Had the right attachment and fixed the issue.

As the heading says, it doesn't work with Navman Dashcam. I put a piece of folded paper in the gap and now it is holding perfectly. I will recommend this product for Navman as it is cheaper compared to the others and well built. The suction power seemed good, but when I park my car on a sunny day, time will tell.

I have the ROVE-R2-4K and this kit worked ... but i could not get any of the locking lugs to fit, i had to use the old lug piece and fit into new small bracket supplied in this kit ... so save your old mount or else this kit may not work for you? You however could easily modify (file, cut etc..) one of the existing ones that come w kit .. I was looking to replace the original suction clamp for my Apachie G100 as it was too short and the camera came too close up to the windscreen on my Peugeot 3008. I wanted something with a longer neck, and with at least 2 flexible joints. Well, this clamp was just perfect for the job and with lots of different camera attachments that included the one for me.

I needed to adapt my Dash Cam to my new car and this adaptable package was perfect for the job. Highly recommended.

Smaller than expected, maybe I didnt look at the dimensions correctly. Not sure the suction cup would hold some of the larger heavier dashcams. Plenty of mounts for most dashcams by the looks of it. I modified one to suit my rear dashcam that I did not want to permanently stick onto the glass.
