With chart tape, there are several factors that you need to know:Application: How easy is it apply? - Does it try to re-curl on itself during application, creating wasted glued tape? - Does it crinkle or rip suddenly when applying a long line?Color-fast - How well the color hold? Can you use dry erase cleaner on the board and over the tape?Holding edges - With frequent wiping of writing, can you wipe over the tape, will the tape edges curl up and begin to come up?Here are answers to the questions:Application with two people usually creates a professional result. The first person applies and holds the starting point. The 2nd person lets out, without stretching but with tension, the tape, holding at angle away from the surface, to just beyond application ending. Then checking level the entire length is applied by both persons at once. The far edge will have excess which is removed by razor blade.Tendency to rip during this method: If stretching is kept minimal, there should be no tearing, otherwise risk of tear over long distance is probable.Color-Fast: Slight fade after 6 months of bi-weekly dry-erase cleaner usageEdges holding during wiping: This is the most common problem. A heavy handed wipe, which many people do when they leave dry erase ink on a board too long, will shred the tape off the board rather quickly.I hope this review is helpful. This chart tape was perfect for my needs. When placed down on a surface, it has a slightly raised texture and the tape itself has a firmness to it. I had tried a cheaper chart tape to save some money but it was terrible in comparison. The inferior tape was thin like scotch tape and flimsy. Even the adhesion was vastly worse than Chartpak (the one improvement I'd ask for if I could). No more cheap tape for me! I've learned my lesson and will be using Chartpak tape for my projects.

I tried 4 dam times to add a pic but every time I did it wouldn’t stay in this review.I’m certain that this is some old tape that is way out of it expiration date. The tape looses its glue as you unroll it staying on the top of the tape rather than the bottom.

I ordered this chart tape to make a weekly calendar grid on one of my dry erase boards in my family info center (basically a wall in our kitchen with 4 magnetic dry erase boards to help keep our family organized). I could not find a pre-printed dry erase board that included all the category rows we wanted for our weekly calendar, so after finding this tape I decided to make one myself!This tape was very easy to line up, position, and step back and re-position if needed. I didn't have to measure anything to get these lines straight, by being able to peel up and try again, it only took me about 10 minutes to make my entire chart! And once I got them where I wanted, I just pressed firmly along each line, and so far nothing has moved or peeled up at all. This is a great product, and I don't understand why it is not more commonly available in stores!5/11/2015 Update: These lines are still firmly in place and haven't moved or peeled up at all.

I got tired of having my barbell collars being mistaken for everyone else's so I striped them. This worked for now. This tape is really designed for striping cars.Perhaps the slippery plastic on the yellow collars won't allow this tape to adhere on the ends well... so that must be taken into account when reading this review. I should have used sandpaper to roughen the plastic first. On the orange ones, the tape stuck well.

I purchased this gold tape to make a DIY for these handcrafted Christmas trees... the gold trim was just what I needed. Also decorated a repurposed Santa’s I bought.... great quality!!

In the description of this product it states the material is durable, with permanent adhesive and sticks to plastic. This is not the case as I attempted to stick it on to a plastic slot car track and in a matter of hours without touching it was coming off on its own. bought these for an extra embellishment on cards. Day after application, corners were lifting up. I have to now reprint the cards to find an alternative sticker product i can use.

Worked great - after I applied it, I cleared it with a few coats. Looks factory correct. Nice tape! Small roll, but there's actually a lot on it turns out!

With great expectation to fix/hide my rusted bathroom mirror. Parcel dropped at the front porch with photo shown but never received it ......... first time this happened in 10 yrs. LOL
