I was pretty skeptical of this switch. It's a fairly simple idea, and rather ingenious. It's just that... I was afraid the diaphragms that make it work would wear out, or just fail in a short time. But, I've been using this for a while now, and it's still working as good as it did when I first installed it. And, I have to admit, I really do prefer the idea of bushing a button with wet hands, that "doesn't" have live electricity flowing through it. Oh, and if does a GREAT job of filling one of the holes in my counter left over from changing out a three hole faucet, to a one hole faucet. (The new faucet offered a trim piece to cover the holes from the previous faucet, but it didn't line up with the holes I had.) All-in-all, a very good purchase. Update: I've now had this switch for several years and, it's "still" working as described. It also looks really good, even after all this time. I really like the safety factor this adds. We have a lot of nurses aids coming through here to help care for my wife, and it's nice to know that I don't need to worry about one of them electricuting themselves on the wall switch. Also, it can't be "accedently" started. You have to diliberately "push" on it to get the disposal to work. So, accedently bumping, brushing, or setting something on top of it, won't start the disposal unexpectedly. Over all, great product.

This is such a clever idea. No need to worry about water and electricity mixing. It's attractive and works perfectly. I had this installed when I redid my countertop and backsplash about 4 years ago. I never knew such a thing existed and now I can't live without it.

The disposal switch was too far away from the sink with the dishwasher in between it. Poor button placement chosen by our home builder. The button itself was easy to install. You just have to drill a hole in your countertop. Highly recommend this product looks nice functions very well. It’s been about two months and I’m very happy with it. It looks professionally installed, and I’m so glad we have it.

The only reason I give a four star for ease of installation is because you need an expert to drill a hole in your countertop (if you don't already have it pre cut). Aside from that, install is simple. I've had it for two weeks now and it works without fail. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen and have the sink in the island. The contractors were planning to put the disposal switch underneath the sink (super inconvenient!). Luckily I quickly found this button and in the same color as our faucet, so it worked out perfectly. The button itself has a deep push, but it is not necessary to push all the way down to turn on/off the disposal. You could find another button for maybe $10 cheaper, but not with the same color options. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Installed pretty easily and looks great. The one issue and what kept it from being a 5* product was the seal around the base. They need to provide a better seal around the bottom of the base to keep water from dripping down between the product and the hole in the countertop. Luckily I was able to reuse the seal from the sprayer housing I had removed to seal it well. Button works great. Nice and quiet. Looks great and the stainless matches my Delta faucet very closely.

This is a beautiful warm gold finished disposal button. Unfortunately it does not match the Kohler vibrant moderne brass (2MB) finish on my faucet so I’m returning it, but if you are looking for a warmer gold toned brass fixture, this is quite pretty. Because we never installed it, I can’t speak to its functionality.

Not sure where this has been all my disposal owning years! Our sink is in an island and we were initially trying to figure out where to place the switch inside cabinet. Searching ideas on AMZN, came across this air switch. Ordered black (which matches faucets exactly) and it was a seamless install. Needed to drill a hole through our counter, pop it in, screw into place, and plug in! That’s it. The switch pushes easily to both start and stop. This is so much better than reaching down into a cabinet to flip a switch. Would recommend.

This is a lifesaver. It works very well. I am able to control it even better. This product is worth the money and effort to install. The product looks really good installed on my black sink.
