I am very happy with this purchase as you can see from the photo, I already started multiple colours at the same time! The yarn is easy to work with, the colours are vibrant and should make for a striking blanket. I think the dye affects the yarn differently depending on the colour, because some colours have better texture than others, for example the yellow and the orange are very soft, while the blues and greens are less so, but still feel good to the touch and easy to work with. It is good value for money, especially with the bag, 2 crochet hooks and numerous stitch markers. I definitely recommend, especially as a beginner kit and a perfect gift for a crochet enthusiast. Very happy with this purchase. 5 stars!

Very soft, resistant, very vibrant colours perfect for amigurumi projects

My mum is an avid knitter and as well as complicated patterns she likes to give back and during lockdown started knitting for premature and still born babies, ear savers for the nurses etc.For hygiene reasons they wanted them in cotton knitting wool, this time. So of to trusty Amazon to do a search 👀.Mum liked this set, it seemed the most reasonable value, interesting colours and as it wasn’t a big project was able to make several with one ball of wool. In total was able to make 13 with each ball of wool for a reference guide.It comes with a little bag, crochet hooks - 2 metal and 2 plastic and stitch savers, a great little starter set.The wool itself is so soft to touch making it a more comfortable option for wearing close to the skin. It feels breathable and is washable, it doesn’t pill as easily as other wool. It feels stronger and more durable than the double knit used before. Mum said it was lovely to knit with, holds it shape well and feels nice to touch.A decent set of wool if you want to try some smaller projects.

This pack has a nice assortment of variegated yarn. I don’t know how robust it will be, but it was nice to work with— not splitty and easy to unravel when necessary. It worked up well on 4mm needles. The wool came in a zipper bag and included a small assortment of notions, including two plastic darning needles and 6 (8?) locking stitch markers.

Brought this for my project patch work blanket the wool quality is not consistent, some soft and the thickness of the not the same and some material doesn't feel the same. I didn't get previous people wool mine same as the picture. However I do love the colours and like how you can get a bag full of different colours but I did get 2 white wools

My daughter loved this set. She would have liked the wool to be slightly longer. She began to crochet a cropped top for herself for the first time in red, but ended up having to add white wool to it as she ran out of red. She is only a size 6. She also said the wool is slightly itchy. Still great value for the price and for beginners.
