Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I love these things. I think my favorite use for them is on the gutter of your house or top of windows for that out door falling icicle effect. I took a video of them on my house outside. These are even lower than half the price of the store bought version. The only worry I have is I'm not sure how many years these will hold up since they are just made by small Chinese companies. So far they are great. We'll see how they hold up to years of cold out door usage.

We are going to purchase more so they can put them on the tree to get a snowing effect.Shipping was quick and well packaged.These lights outside provide a nice ambience at nighttime and gives out a good amount of light, certainly enough to be able to see when dark out.These Topist lights are better then what I was expecting, they work great and my family is very happy with them. We will not hesitate to order them again.

I lit them (I purchased 2) for 20 minutes, and 1 plug melted, burning out the strand and the other was very hot. These are not ul tested, and are probably not legal to sell in the U.S. I'm lucky that I'm paranoid about fires and checked on them or I would have lost my beloved grafted cherry tree, and possibly my house to fire. I used to ensure that all the electrical equipment that I purchased had the ul tags. I was blinded by the beauty of these, and that I thought Amazon only sold legal merchandise.

The cost was cheap, it was easy to install and to use, so why 4 stars?I though personally, the lights were too close together so when you hung them it was hard to get an uneven look in the tree. They looked to uniform and close together. Had it been a smaller tree I think it would have looked fine. Also, I should have ordered a lot more since I was decorating a substantially larger tree. You might even want to look for icicles that are uneven or odd in shape from the rest and make sure theres a greater space in between icicles to maneuver and perfect the design. Those are my thoughts.Next christmas I'll be using these across bottom of my roof line.Hey, you try and you learn. I still found use for them.And remember this is my opinion, I've seen many great reviews but if your a perfectionist like me, then find another use for them.

These lights are so much fun and good for holiday decor or even to just brighten up an outdoor space! They’re vibrant and so much better then the plain icicle lights that are out there. These give off a trickling effect and light up on all sides. They’re very reasonably priced, so I would recommend getting a few strands to get the best effect.

I ordered six. Tested each one inside the house; got excited to hang them up outside. BUT then got very disappointed! All of mine will NOT work if CONNECTED TOGETHER. I don’t mean all 6 together - just connecting 2 together will make them stop working. Made me a very sad panda!

The first thing we did was plug them in to get a sense of their rhythm and speed only to find that just one of the icicles on the entire string of each set actually worked fully. The second icicle in the string had a trickle of light show up but none of the other icicles displayed any light at all.We reached out to the seller, explained the issue, shared a video of the problem, and requested a replacement while offering to send back the defective products. The replacement never came and now we are stuck with trash icicles that don’t work.

We bought 3 strands of these to go across the front of the house. They don’t come with any instructions, but after reading the description on Amazon, and some of the questions/reviews it wasn’t too hard to figure out. Except... when attaching strands together, you have to make sure the + and - are correctly lined up. Problem is there are no markings to indicate which is which. The instructions say if it doesn’t work, just turn it and it will light up. Well, I attached my 3 strands and hung them up...got nothing. I tried turning connections...nothing. I was about ready to return them as some of the reviews mentioned similar issues, but decided to try them inside. I should have done this initially, but live and learn. Here’s the main point. Plug in the first strand BY ITSELF. If the second strand is not connected correctly, NEITHER STRAND WILL LIGHT. You’ve got to put them together one at a time for them all to work. Now they look great 😊
