Great for Lucky. He has his own room now for the winter. Easy to install and fits the window. It's durability to withstand the in and out motion multiple times. It's Insulated, however the flap door might not always close, easy fix.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second cat door from this company. Both work great but the 6.25” x 6.25” flap door was too small for my 15+lb cats.The second flap door is 7” x 10” and allows the cats to pass through easily, without contorting to squeeze to the other side.The installation is so easy. Knurled finger nuts control the slides to the edges of the window. The included sticky foam is easy to apply. I will add some thicker foam around the sides and bottom to give a better seal. My window is not protected from the weather, do I want to insure no water gets inside the house.All in all, this is a quality cat door unit for the window and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I love this product - it allows my cats to safely go from inside to their outdoor catio without me having to let them in and out. Installation was a little tricky, because the window I was using it in is old and weird, but it does the job. The instructions were helpful to figuring out how to get this window door to work.My only complaint is that the flap that is supposed to go in either way does not. It's stuck on the outside, and no matter how hard I try, I can't actually get the flap to function like it should. Thankfully - the window it's in is weird and has two openings. So I just close the window on the inside, and leave it open on the outside. I prop the flap open so the cats don't get stuck outside (most of the time - sometimes they knock it away and I have to rescue them!)The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 3 for the above issue is because when I bought this window door, one of my cats had just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and her prognosis only gave her a month to live. I did not reach out to the seller or Amazon about a return or replacement because every spare second of time and energy went to spending time with my cat, and I wanted her to be able to enjoy the window to the catio as long as she could without having to wait for a replacement. And enjoy it she did, all the way up until she crossed the rainbow bridge. This product allowed her to enjoy the outside without needing to wait on me to open the door to the catio. Her siblings still enjoy it to this day, even with the days getting colder.I believe that if I'd had the time to reach out to the seller or amazon, they would have helped me fix the issue or offered a return or replacement. However, I'm way outside the return window now, so I will continue to use the product I have, despite it's flaw.

My cats love this door. It took a little effort to install because I got the wrong size. It was easy to finagle and easy to train the cats to use it. The door has multi-lock functions, but my cats figured out how to pull the door open in the direction they want it to go. 🤪🤪 It really is a great investment. Now one of the cats likes to sit in the door to inspect the outdoors. 🙄

Overall this is good buy. It's sturdy and it works pretty much as expected and most importantly, our cats use it.Now for the minor weaknesses to be aware of. Compatibility with windows with a bottom lip requires following their somewhat cryptic instructions. Not impossible but it is like a puzzle with less than adequate instructions. Fortunately that's a one time frustration.The swing flap does close in the middle when the flap is raised high enough and dropped. But for more gentle use, the flap doesn't always fully return closed and fully seal. Maybe 50% of the time it returns home and other times it stays cracked open. I don't know that it's a deal breaker and love that I can take it out entirely for the winter when they don't want to go out anyway. That's the best kind of seal.Overall, it's a recommend. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but 4 seems lower than it deserves. Just know what the weaknesses are going in and it'll perform fine.But overall this is half the price of competitors and it's good enough.

I like the unit. It was easy to install. The door flap does not close very well. When the cat goes out or comes in, it stays open a little bit. It has to be manually closed.Just wish it had a better door flap. You'll also need to buy better weather stripping. The stuff that comes with the unit is not that thick and there is not enough of it.
