Goto Pen Making glue
I make pens. This is my go-to glue for adhering the barrel (either wood or acrylic) to the brass tube. I also use the thin version for surface patches or hole filing. I have used other brands successfully, but I know I can always trust BSI to be the best for me. And that includes their 2-part epoxies. 1500 pens later, you can take my word for this!

Product doesn't bond, or cure remotely close to instant. This has ruined a handful of projects and 40k miniatures. Horrible experience, even citadel makes a better glue. Elmer's white glue did everything this glue did and more. This product is a joke.
