Wolo (360) Train Horn Electronic Horn - 12 Volt

We built a train to put on my son’s wagon for Halloween and this was the perfect finishing touch

I was hoping for a more realistic train sound. When activating this horn it will cycle through different train sounds as long as the horn button is held. When you release and press horn button again, the sound cycle starts over. This is definitely loud when sounded by itself but it gets lost when combined with engine noise. I bought this to mount on a lawn tractor for fun as I often pull the kids in a connected wagon and pretend we are on a train. I am still shopping for something different.

I wired this up to use with my sons HO scaled model train. It’s awesome!!!!!!!!

I installed this unit on my riding mower which I use to haul around my granddaughters in a trailer. It is not very loud so I don't think it would be very effective on a vehicle but it worked fine for my application as long as I didn't rev the motor up too far. Also, I had to buy an electrical control button and install it on the tractor to be able to turn it on and off. The installation instructions assume that you will be using an existing horn as the switch.

It cycles thru 3 different train noises. The first is the typical train horn that sounds a little tinny but it's unmistakably a train - and still sounds very good. The main problem is it's not quite loud enough. To really get the full loud effect, you'll need a compressor type train horn. Bang for the buck though, this is a great horn.

Like new, exactly like new at a reduced cost. Using it in our Fire Department community outreach program (kiddy train) we couldn't be happier.
