RFID Blocking Sleeve Value Set : 10 Cards + 2 Passports + 1 Bonus Wallet Insert

We really like these sleeves for our credit cards. Just recently, right before I ordered the sleeves, 2 of our credit card companies issued new cards with the "chip" in them. Also, we just renewed our passports. For these reasons, we were looking for a complete package that would cover our cards and passports. This one fit the bill, and the price was reasonable. I like the fact that they are color coded, some for me and some for the Hubby. They are very easy to use and they do fit in the slots in my wallet. We will be doing some traveling in the near future, and we would rather be "safe than sorry", and take precautions ahead of time. It's a very simple system and easy to use. --------

Everyone needs to know that a change in fraud laws now means that the banks will no longer be responsible for fraudulent charges. The law states that the "weakest link" in the chain of events leading to the fraudulent charge is responsible for the loss. Banks, of course, are upgrading everyone to chipped (EMV) cards which indemnify them. Retailers are upgrading their systems to accept EMV cards, which indemnify them. That leaves you, the card holder, as the weakest link and therefore responsible for any fraudulent charges. EMV cards, which almost all cards will be by the end of 2015, are not RFID cards. There's a physical chip on the card which the readers make physical contact with in order to read. Some EMV chips, however, are near-field compatible ("tap to pay" or "swipe n go"). Which is a type of RFID. So they can still be read by any NFC reader (like your average smart phone) when in close proximity to the card. Which means they are vulnerable to remote attacks. That covers WHY you should have RFID blocking on your cards and/or wallet. But why THESE sleeves. In my quest to learn about EMV and RFID, I looked at a lot of blocker products. While these may not be as pretty as some of the others, they have a few features that do stand out. The basic colors make card identification easy in a wallet or purse. The larger cut-out made getting the card out of the sleeve much easier than several other brands. (Always make sure you put the chip into the sleeve first.) The cut-to-fit sheet is very nice for those of us who like to keep our wallets thin and organized. And the low price-point makes the set a great value. If you don't have a "chipped" card yet, you probably will in the near future. If already you have one, you really should have protection. This package is your best defense against wireless readers.

I give a 2-star review to most orders where the company fulfills the order and the product is as advertised. To get more stars one must go beyond this. This company has done this. While they get marked down for nagging me about a review, they also get points for going beyond filling the order. Their PDF on protecting against identity theft is a good primer (although form my perspective, basic). They do not point out that without their product RFID chipped cards and documents can be scanned and scammed -- a weakness in the new "enhanced credit system" and therefore a must. This makes this product an essential tool in the fight against cyber-thieves and identity thieves.

This is an excellent product in terms of construction, design, and utility. Everything is just as described and pictured. I have used several of the sleeves and have not had any problem whatsoever with them. They fit easily inside a typical wallet and passport or credit card holder. I have not been able to directly test the RFID feature, but according to the information from the manufacturer and several other reviewers, it appears to be highly effective. With all the security breaches going on, it makes good sense to take every precaution possible. The seller also sent a helpful email about ways to monitor for identity theft and followed up to make sure the product was satisfactory.

I was feeling a little anxious about traveling abroad and becoming a victim of credit card 'snooping'; a very cutesy term, not so cute when you're stuck abroad and have no other way of paying for your purchases! I love how the pack comes in different colors, I gave some to my husband and a few others to a friend. Worked like a charm! Tested it a a store with the sleeve and the info was blocked as promised. The supplier also sent a follow up email with other tips and tricks to safeguard you from identity theft. Top notch customer service in my book!

Sleeves in the set look and fit fine. A credit card sleeve is a bit wider than a standard credit card, but just right lengthwise. It doesn't fit all the credit card slots in my wallet though, and I can't stretch them since they are not leather. Passport holder fits one bigger passport loosely, I squeezed 2 in since the other one is smaller (thinner). But the sheet (I had high hopes for) is useless for me. It can't cover my wallet. I have a typical zipped woman's wallet (4.5*7.5in) which would need 2 pieces of rfid paper inserted inside along both sides, and this sheet is way too small. For the price it should be bigger so it workes for every customer no matter what type of a wallet they have. This additional sheet was the only reason I purchased the set. Should have gotten a wallet for the money, but I so wanted to keep using mine.

The sleeves are easy to identify and use. They are in multiple colors and have ID bands to enable labeling on one side. The card holders work great, however, the passport holders are a little tight. All in all, it is a good product.

I bought this to protect myself and I did not realize that most my cards did not even have a chip until last week. Well, last night I got a call from chase saying that someone has stolen my card number and have used it at home depot and 7- eleven. They actually had a card since MINE has never left my side. This product does NOT work and now I am pass my return time. My son used to make fun of me telling me that it is just paper and he was right! All this time, I have gone out of my way to put my credit cards into these sleeves to then get it number stolen!
