Fun
I love Robert Sabuda’s books!! I have several myself & I love giving them as gifts to my grandchildren. This one was for the youngest grandson this Christmas while we were decorating Christmas cookies. We’d take a break & sit for awhile just reading & counting cookies. The illustrations are beautiful, it’s easily read & my grandson ♥️ it. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy some quiet time with a favorite child!!

Wonderful Pop-up Book!!
This is a wonderful interactive book!! The pop-ups are all different, the colors vibrant and the illustrations are cute and interesting. My granddaughter loved exploring each new page, but we did have to teach her to be "gentle" with the book, as she has strong hands. I did go through the book and initially open each flap and design so they were easy for her to open because as a new book, the card stock was a little stiff. I am an huge David Carter fan...Robert Sabuda is right up there with him!! I would recommend this book for a child over a year old so that they have the dexterity to work the pages.

Amazing!
The pop-up art in here is phenomenal. I have never seen anything like it. There are things that twirl as you open them, and an entire pop-up house! It’s gorgeous. I’m afraid to give it to my kids because I don’t want them to damage it because I love it so much. Lol.There was one small piece of one of the pop-ups that was folded incorrectly and pulled out of its slot the first time I opened the page, but it’s so small my kids would never notice.Love it!

Just Plain Fun!
I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter and it is just lovely. It is small and just the right size for her. The pop-ups are complex and very cute. I think many adult "cookie faces" would also enjoy this book and for any cookie cookbook collector (even though there are no recipes) this book could provide a fun addition.I strongly suggest thoroughly inspecting any pop-up book before giving, as they sometimes need "teasing" (unstuck from where they should not be stuck) or re-glued (double-side tape works well too). This one arrived in great shape with only minor adjustments needed.

A family treasure.
This book was given to my children when they were very young and quickly became their favorite book as they tried to locate and count the mice on each page. When my last child came along, the original copy was badly damaged. This one was purchased as a replacement for my children, who are now in college. That is how much they adore this book. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful
My son's first pop-up book for his 3rd birthday. He's asked for it a few times. The pop-ups are intricate and well-designed and the illustrations are adorable. He likes to count a bit and look at the tasty cookies. A beautiful book and I may get more in this series.

BEAUTIFUL BOOK
I love pop-up. Cookie Count is beautiful in every way. It is a learn to count book for children, but I'm just a 63 year old kid. I bought it for myself. It joins several other incredible Robert Sabuda pop-up books that I also bought for myself. They are so much fun to open and always thrill young and old alike. If a book says "by Robert Sabuda" you can not go wrong.

Very disappointed that a damaged new book has arrived today.
This is a birthday gift for my two-year old daughter. This kind of pop-up books seemes delicate to handle, so I checked its content before she found it.Firstly, the back cover is torn apart. I haven't meant to buy a used book, but it looks so.Then some parts are sealed too tight to pop up, and one broken part is found.Although I ordered three pop-up books this time, only this one disappointed me.

Very Good but not 'fantastic'
I have several pop-up books by Robert Sabuda but as this is an earlier one, I don't think that it is up to the same standards as the very latest ones such as 'Encyclopedia Mythologica: Fairies and Magical Creatures', which is absolutely fantastic. The pop-up's in this book are not as complex or colourful and are fewer in number, notwithstanding the Amazon price of the book being very similar. At the end of the day it depends what you're looking for...

Beautiful
This book is really beautiful. However, I would not recommend it as reading material for toddlers. Their hands are too sticky and they tend to throw books around a lot. This book deserves a long life, even over generations. Maybe it should be indicated better that it's for older children. Preschoolers, maybe.

Fantastic pop ups
Fantastic pop ups. My 18 month old loves it, but I have to help her be very careful. I think this will be one we'll look at a lot over the next few years.
