The cards and rules of this game are very social by design and should be played with people who aren't afraid of some on-the-spot thinking. Red Flags by comparison allowed quiet players to play the game through the cards but Pitchstorm will require more communication and responsiveness.That being said this game was a ton of fun to play with friends! Even if every pitch doesn't land the game is structured so that turns are kept in check and new ideas will be coming out at a regular pace. I'm not a huge fan of the blank cards and the cards that require references to past pitches but there aren't too many of them and the rest are gold! They are often creative enough to make for an interesting idea but simple enough to be paired with a lot of different card combinations. Looking forward to playing more games in the future.

Played this game with my wife and one of our friends and I have to say, I haven't laughed this hard in ages. If you love movies and have a creative streak, this is the game for you. Don't be intimidated by the need to improv in a hurry, it gets easier with every round, but watch out for the notes cards! They can add some fun and unexpected wrinkles, like how my movie about the lonely old man who had to throw the party of the year suddenly had to incorporate a piranha attack. I cannot wait to play this game some more, utterly fantastic.

This game is awesome! So much fun for authors, creators and generally just people that enjoy fun. If you life fun, play this game. Oh, and go google "Mitch Meetings" videos. You gotta watch those and then play this game."Wow wow wow"

I teach improv here in NY, and I bought this last week with half an idea of using it as a teaching tool. I ended up breaking it out early the other night with my wife, brother-in-law, and 16-year old son and they had a BLAST!!! Highly recommended. Can't wait to try some of the add on decks.

We had a great time at a game night with this game and the NC-17 and Creature Feature Expansion Packs. Really funny stories that came out of there. Including one about an elderly swim team setting up a club for adult desires. Really fun way to spend an evening with friends. Lots of laughter. No need to keep score.

I love the entire premise of this game. Just interrupting someone's movie pitch to give them a ridiculous idea to incorporate, and then watching their minds shift into high gear as they try to salvage their pitch is hilarious.The premise is well laid out, game is super easy to learn, there aren't that many rules, and with endless combinations of character and plot cards, it will take a long time before this game can get stale.

Fun game for film students and even with friends! Best played with a quick-thinking, creative crew. I mostly use this to teach pitching and concepting (on the fly) in a college class.

We’re a bunch of theatre and film people. Great for inspiration. Love it.
