Great product... Great value....
This oil was recommended to me buy my GM mechanic... I just bought a new GMC sierra and didn't have any idea what Dexos 1 was, after doing some research i discovered that this is a very synthetic blend... If you buy the Mobil 1 you will pay double... This is a great product and an even better value than other synthetic oil's...

This product absolutely is "dexos1" certified so it is absolutely perfect for my GM truck.The review you are reading now is for amazon product id B00B2JCNSK.This product is absolutely dexos1 and you will find the dexos logo is splattered all over the website, the box and every bottle.My truck has had many an oil change with this product and I am satisfied.What people might not know is amazon product id B006P0WNMW has also obtained the Dexos1 certification.With regard to the B006P0WNMW,This amazon product page DOES have in its description the following line: "Meets the following: dexos1, M2C946-A, GM 6094M, GM4718M"however the picture of the bottle is from over 2+ years ago which when the logo didn't appear.However since the time of that old picture the product IS dexos1 certified.and every single B006P0WNMW bottle has the dexos1 logo.Over the years I have purchased multiple cases of each amazon product id.I have been very satisfied with both.To my mind seeing "dexos" on the label is everything I need to know.when I need oil I do an amazon search on both product id strings and buy whichever is better priced.I am enclosing a pic of both bottles side by side.

Good Price
Does what it's designed for. Will update when I change it and see the condition. I change the oil once a year since we only put about 4K of miles on the silverado.

Bought for 2012 Chevy Silverado
I bought this oil for my 2012 Chevy Silverado. I read online that if you have the extended warranty and do not use products approved by GM it can void your warranty. From my knowledge Dexos oil is approved and preferred. Got the job done and for a good price.

GM approved DEXOS1 synthetic oil, cheaper than mobil one
Nice synthetic oil for GM applications. GM has it on its authorized list for DEXOS 1 uses. GM tests the oil to see if it has the required additives for that designation and it is a better buy than mobil 1. Recommended

I already knew it was a synthetic blend in order to meet the Dexos 1 standards but am pleased to see the "Full Synthetic" label
I've been using this oil in my 2012 Chevy Silverado. The labeling on the case and bottles now states "Full Synthetic" as opposed to what I previously ordered as pictured here. I already knew it was a synthetic blend in order to meet the Dexos 1 standards but am pleased to see the "Full Synthetic" label for a fraction of the price of the (highly advertised) brands. Check out Mag1.com for the full specs and info on the company. If you like to waste money, buy the other stuff.
