I love that this is a little wider (or longer whichever way you look at it) and not too deep. I don't have to dig down for whatever I'm looking for. I added two photos to show a little hack I did to make it work better for me. The problem was that the metal on metal made a screechy sound and slid around too much so I took a little surplus plastic tubing I had on hand and cut it with scissors lengthwise then popped the sleeve over three points of contact. It could be a little thicker, and I will get some at the pet store in their aquarium supplies next time I can. But for now this works. That might be an addition the manufacturer could add to make it the best possible.

It would be awesome, however after one week of holding a scouring pad, the bottom has rusted.

THIS DOES NOT TAKE UP A LOT OF ROOM IN MY SINK. THIS ALSO STANDS ON ITS OWN, ON THE BACK OF THE SINK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HANG IT ON THE SINK. I KEEP MY SPONGE, DISH CLOTH, AND SCRUB BRUSH IN MINE. WHEN I NEED MORE ROOM IN MY SINK I PUT THIS ON THE BACK OF THE SINK NEXT TO THE FAUCET. THIS LOOKS SO MUCH NICER THAN HAVING MY PLASTIC STORAGE CONTAINER SITTING ON THE SINK. MY DAUGHTER USES THIS FOR THE SILVER WARE WHEN SHE DOES DISHES. IT DOES WORKS GREAT FOR DRAINING THE SILVERWARE, JUST THE RIGHT SIZE ALL AROUND.

I really enjoy using this holder because of its slim profile. We currently have a double basin sink, with one side used to contain the dish rack. So we're limited to use of one basin for all other sink activities. I wanted something that could suspend all cleaning materials so they could dry properly, and be accessed in one place that doesn't clutter the back of the sink (we have sponges, botle cleaners, brushes, plastic food scrapers). This was it! There are little plastic/rubber pieces that encompass the piece that hangs over the sink, but those didn't stay well, so we just left them off (we have a ceramic sink we're getting rid of soon, so we aren't concerned of scratches).

This is a great product. Late last year we got a stainless steel kitchen sink and it was almost impossible to get a sponge holder with enough suction to stick to the sink. I really like the fact that it hangs over the divider between sink sections. My divider is about 1-1/4" thick and this little basket fits and still has another 1/4", so this would fit easy over a 2" wide divider.

The size of the product is just fine and it works well to hold sponges without falling (as suction types do on stainless steel). But it lost a star for the following reason. The three parts that hang on the sink divider comes with little plastic tubes to protect the sink. All well and good and it is understandable that they are cut so they can be placed on the steel parts. However, they tend to fall off very easily. We already lost one of the side pieces. The manufacturer should have found a way to seal the tubes once placed on the holder. (Suction power is not an issue, that is exactly what we were avoiding when we made the purchase.)

This slimline kitchen sink holder is perfect, it holds the stopper and my scrubber and it takes up hardly any space, I can still do everything I need to do in my sink and it has small rubber tubes around the metal that can scratch my sink and they help keep the holder from moving at all...wonderful size, just what I needed!

My counters were always a mess from sponges and steel wool sitting on slimy silicone trays. This fits great on the divider of my double sink and is narrow so it doesn't take up too much room. I wish I'd found this years ago.
