Bullseye Fishing Tracker - Portable Bluetooth Smartphone GPS with Satellite Imagery and Logbook for Kayak, Bass, Saltwater, and Fly Fishing

The Bullseye has been working well for me. Pretty straight forward. Using the Anglr app, you can sync it at the beginning of a trip, press to record a catch. Double-clicking makes a custom point that you can change later.It clips to my hat ok and hasn't falled off. I was able to peel off the sticky back without a problem.The only issue is that I had to reset after updating the app. Hold the button for 8 seconds, then pair again. After that it worked fine again.

Really enjoyed how simple it was. No set up. Just paired to the app and off I went. Best result was what I got after fishing. I have more information about how to catch fish then I did before. I thought the weather charts were the coolest part. I didnt know it recorded weather and water automatically or gave forecasts. Super cool and recommend for the guys who care about adjusting tactics for weather and water conditions.

Purchased the bull’s-eye as a trial to replace the hand written fishing logs I have kept for years. Out of the box it paired with my phone and seemed simple enough. I took it to the lake Saturday for its first use and it was completely dead. Would not pair to my phone or anyone else’s phone. It acts as if the battery is dead. Amazon is replacing so we will see how the next one does. I will update this review once the second one arrives and is tested.

This product is pretty good. If you only want to use it to journal your catches then it is great. I also currently use my phone to navigate on the water. You have to have cell signal to use this app, or at least the maps. That leads me to use a second app for a map. Maybe it would work better for me if I didn't use a second app at the same time to navigate. The core function of the app with a bullseye is great. You click the button once to log a catch and twice for a waypoint. If you have a subscription you can latter export the waypoints. This is what I plan on doing because otherwise, I can't use the data as much.

If you're a bank fisherman or an angler that fishes the back of peoples boats or even if you have your own boat. This is awesome for you. To be able to mark things and catches, put in notes and pictures is awesome. Specially if your water levels fluctuate throught the year. The only thing I'd like to see is a better hat clip. This is a great tool to help you pattern fish and helps you look at previous years and see if fish are returning to spots. I love it.

So this is an initial review of the product. We went salmon fishing on Lake Michigan about 5 miles off shore and the device was slow to load, didn’t mark my fish. I thought everything was connected and will use it again this weekend. One thing that does worry me is when you are on a big body of water your not always going to get good cell reception so with that I’m not sure this will work for me.

Got this as a gift and my first thought was, not another piece of tech that I need in my life.But I like to fish. So I downloaded the app and took this with me to a local stream. There's nothing happening this time of year but I "recorded" a trip with waypoints and catches.And it works. I can see how this could be a big deal in terms of keeping my trips straight plus also bragging to friends.

So as you can see in the photo, this was most certainly a previous return. It has a second sticker placed right over the 1st one that had been cut open already.Then, it’s missing the foam insert the 1st one had so double sure they sent me a retuned item to replace the item I returned.The battery on both were toast. Neither would glow red when pressed or connect.Really sad to see such a cool concept have such poor quality control.The company seems like good people so I’m not going to push any further. But this was really disappointing.
