SBox Spirit Box + EVP Recorder with Built-in Flashlight

Scanner works great and as described. Manual is lacking, as are most manuals. It took some frustration and time to figure out that it does not work with a 64 GB Micro SD (or larger). I can confirm an 8 GB micro SD does work (unsure if 16 or 32 GB) will work. If your SD is compatible, the letters "SD" will appear on the screen after pressing record. If you are having issues recording, this is likely why. Also, it ONLY records the radio, not your voice and comments. Otherwise, a fun device.

Amazing product! Much smaller than I imagined it would be, considering everything that it can do and has. Not much bigger than a cell phone with a case. In some instances, maybe the same or smaller. This ISN'T YOUR TYPICAL am/fm sweep scanner/ghost box! Its much more than that. MANY different options, as well as saving right to a SD card for easy playblack later. Can also listen plugging in a headset/earbuds OR has an extremely loud adjustable volume control. Can sweep in reverse and in different speeds. Very long telescopic antenna for picking up stations for sweeping, or use to jam out to your favorite radio station. Also, a very awesome feature is LED flashlight at bottom of device. Can use it to navigate through a dark house, or set down device and use flashlight so you're not in complete darkness while sweeping channels (Or having to bring and use another external flashlight). Too many options to mention all of them. If I could give this device 6 stars, I honestly would. For everything that it does, options, and price point, it's worth much more than its selling for. Was bought as a gift and as soon as I saw the small, sleek packaging, I already knew at that point I had made the right choice. You should do the same.-Nicholi (CEO Paranormal Vapes)

We've had some really interesting messages come through - for example, a neighbor lost his mother to breast cancer while in prison a few years ago (which none of us were aware of), and a voice (he immediately recognized as hers) called him by a name only she used for him. This total sceptic ended up literally talked to her for over 30 minutes. I have so many other examples, but my major COMPLAINT: it doesnt hold a charge. Whatsoever. I will connect it to the usb cable, charge it to full battery, unplug it to take somewhere or use (keeping it turned off), and its DEAD (no pun intended) in just minutes, and thats without turning it back on. Ive tried removing the battery (like the removable type in some cellphones) but then you risk damaging or losing it (so i recommend keeping it in a ziplock baggie when out of the device). I also suggest keeping a backup battery pack to connect and keep it charged when not near an outlet (which there arent any at cemeteries and other places you'll take you sbox to). Also, the HEADPHONE jack is too small - and private listening is important when you're somewhere that you cant have the loud channel surfing static disturbing others sleeping, etc. (A few people have said the choppy static sound gives them a headache, so using headphones would be good then.) I do like that you can save to an SD card (not included) to go back and listen later.

I was a total skeptic and thought people were just hearing the radio voices. You can hear those, but when a spirit voice comes through. It sounds different. Usually very clear and very pertinent to what you are asking! I tried it out today and asked if anyone had a message for someone I know (fully expecting it not to work), and a voice came through, told me the name of a man I know in town, told me he was "dad"... I asked if I knew the man he had the message for to see if it was the same guy I knew and he said "singing" (we sing together in a band twice a year). Then I asked for the message and he said, "Sorry" and "energy" and that was it. I contacted the guy I know and his wife had received the same message from his dad in a dream. This was all very unexpected as this is something we bought for fun to go use at the Stanley hotel in a couple of weeks. Anyhow, I tried it again tonight and asked how I could hear them. I asked if there were spirits around all the time or just passing through and a voice said "here". Then I asked if someone has a message and one said, "I'll play". I said I wasn't playing, just asking to talk. So, I asked if they could hear lots of us talking to them or just my voice and a voice said, "other people". I asked again if someone wanted to give me a message and one said, "leave", and I decided it sounded like they were trying to protect me because it didn't sound upset, just giving advice, so I stopped trying and turned the box off. This is a day I will never forget! I don't fully understand how this works, but too much lined up to write it off as coincidence today, that is for sure! If you are open, patient and calm, you will likely have success with this box!

I didn’t investigation for the first time and I was actually with a professional team who couldn’t even figure out how are these special functions it’s supposed to have work it is honestly a cheap reproduction of something that I was hoping would be helpful in no way did I ever figure out how to use the EVP function and when it comes to the actual voice box itself the sweeps are incredibly slow and it’s really just not worth the money the battery life is great and the size it is is great if it only works rate

I bought this product last year, used it twice and then put it up. Yesterday too it out to use and the scan will scan but no sound. The play back works and you can hear the voice tellyou what you on, but no static on the scan. I no longer have the box for it so I out of $100 so cant tell people to buy this if I got 2 uses out of it.Update: I gave this product 1 star to start but after I wrote the review it started to work. I guess the ghosts wanted it to work. Keep you informed if this change. never mind it stopped again.
