Excellent taste, color and value!
Excellent taste and beautiful color! Extremely happy with this purchase and I will 100% buy again. I’m not sure the experience the two bad reviewers have had previously with actual matcha, or who pissed in their cornflakes the morning they decided to waste time leaving snarky reviews, but they’ve clearly never had decent matcha. From a professional chef, this is excellent for culinary/cosmetic purposes. If you need something ceremonial grade, then purchase ceremonial grade.

Don't need a lot... best when mixed as milk tea.
It's my first time buying matcha powder and I don't know if there is something better but to me it's an acceptable to good taste and of course CHEAPER than buying something from Starbucks or another coffee place. It's really worth it in terms that you don't need to put too much in the cup and you will need a couple of tries to see yourself just how much you'll need to put for your pleasing. The taste is not as pleasing if you if don't sweeten it as much. I am mostly drinking it as milk tea like I had it for 2 weeks in Thailand and I enjoy. I recommend to just try it and decide for yourself. The price is also affordable in comparison to other brands in terms of the amount what you get and the fact that you don't have to use a lot in every cup.

Great price. Not so great taste.
A+ for being the cheapest culinary grade matcha on Amazon at the time I bought it.C- for the 2 months away expiration/use-by date...though, those dates don't usually matter much.D for the flavor, even for culinary grade. My old matcha (similar price point and grade/source country: China) has been open for two years and still tastes better in an identical latte.[Cup Picture: oxidized old matcha (smaller/browner pile) still tastes better, less bitter, slightly stronger, less grainy.]Final thoughts: Should be okay in cooked dishes and I'm going to keep using it until I run out (for lattes, blended frappes, and ice cream). Someone less frugal than me might toss it, but it's a good bag to experiment with.I'll update this review when I run out and try another inexpensive brand.[UPDATE]I ran out of my old matcha and still can't force myself to use this for anything. It was actively giving me headaches and stomach aches, and the taste is just so bad.Something is definitely wrong with this.Dropping to 1 star.

Worst taste and dark green color
It is so bitter and the color is not a bright green. Smells a bit metallic. Even though it says usda organic, the taste is horrible. Product of China!!! No wonder!

The matcha tea I received has nice packaging and the size is decent
The matcha tea I received has nice packaging and the size is decent. I received it quicker than I thought. I use it to make milk matcha shake or add flavor to my home made cake. I am a tea lover, the matcha adds special green tea flavor. I will definitely order again. Worth a try!

Taste and blending
I really like the taste of this matcha green tea powder. It blend so easily in to smoothies and in melted white chocolate to make matcha chocolate almonds or cashews.

Great Value!
This matcha has great value and is perfect for baking and for lattes. I oftentimes make lattes using this and they turn out great every time! I also have not found another brand that provides this much product for $6. Would definitely purchase again!
