10" Vintage Style Solar Powered Lantern Fame Effect(Metallic Coating,Plastic),Solar Garden Light with Vivid Fire Effect,Outdoor Solar Hanging Lantern,Decorative Lanterns ZKEE (Set of 2)

Bought 5 sets of these to hang on hooks to light our pathways. Also bought the upgraded batteries as suggested. They worked beautifully at first but now only about 6 of them work. Very disappointed since it wasn’t an inexpensive “landscaping “ project. And we really enjoyed eyeing the flickering pathways. Is there a trick or something i can do to get them functional again?

Really love these flickering lamps! They are solar powered and come on at dusk every night and go off after about 4-5 hours. No extra work as they do it all! Love them!!

Realistic looking flame, and attractive lantern. We paired these with the larger size and ended up being known as the fire house by the neighbor kids.The batteries these come with do not charge well. Replaced with another solar rechargeable battery and they're still going strong after dark when after a year gloomy Washington day of charging

**Update Nov 16, 2020: The good folks in the yyzkee.com customer service department sent out two brand new lights that both work perfectly. They also arrived ten days earlier than promised! Many thanks, I'm changing my rating from three stars to five for standing behind their productsOriginal review---I will happily update this review when I receive the promised replacements, but for now I have to say it's disappointing that these items advertised as "brand new" arrive with half of the lanterns inoperable, due to malfunctioning solar cells. I also had to replace the supplied "new" batteries in order to get these to stay lit for more than two hours. The batteries that I installed made the two functioning lanterns work much better.*And yes, I charged the cells in direct sunlight for two days before attempting to use them.The light and the flicker effect are very realistic when they do work, making them worth spending the extra $20 for actually useful rechargeable batteries. The lantern housing is plastic, but is decorated to give a very realistic metal look.Kudos to the the Zkee customer service dept; their emails have been very friendly and quick in their responses. They assured me they would send replacement lanterns as soon as they were back in stock, which, at this time in late October, they are stating to be available in early November. Not going to be helpful to me this Halloween, which is why I bought them, but they hopefully will be in working order next year.

These are great and look awesome at night time as well. The only thing I have found is that it eats batteries very fast. I have used rechargeable batteries. So when they stop work. I recharge the battery and replace. Not a deal breaker. They are in Sun for half the day.
