Lippman's approach to design should change the way we look at school design forever. His methods for viewing and engaging in school design are unique and helpful. I only wish he had presented more "evidence" for a book with a title beginning with that word.

I bought this book for a final paper I had to do on art classrooms layouts and let me tell you something, if you are a teacher or a designer this book will work for you in so many ways ! love it

I have advised on new school design and the upgrade of existing schools and this has become the book I recommend to anyone I am working with to understand the design process of a school.The school leader wants to have read this book before the process begins because you can see a wealth of things, even on the tightest budget, that can improve learning.
