This is one of the best deals I could find online for lavender extract, and a huge plus is that it shipped in ONE day (I am located in the same state as the supplier). Arrived wrapped in protective bubble wrap. Great value, great flavor! The bottle is tricky, but use the hack in the video to not waste a drop! If you rest the lip of the bottle on a whisk, the liquid will travel down the whisk instead of dripping down the bottle.

Do you like Earl Grey tea? Traditionally, Earl Grey was made from black teas, such as China keemun, with extract of bergamot, intended to be drunk without milk. I do not like milk in my tea, and I have always loved the citrusy flavor of bergamot, so I thought I'd get my own and make my trove of black tea taste like that when I'm out of Earl Grey. In my research, I came across oil of bergamot, but that's misleading. Don't put essential oils in your tea -- they are made as scents (perfumes) and not for consumption. Finally I found this simple extract of the Bergamot fruit. It should come in a dropper bottle to make it easier to add a drop (or two) to your tea, but you can transfer it to a clean dropper bottle. You don't want to use too much and overwhelm the flavor of your tea.

I made lavender madeleines yesterday with this lavender oil and added culinary lavender flowers. Came out fantastistic. Just the right note of lavender in the cookie- not overpowering at all.

Wow, this stuff is strong!! I was enamored with the Honey Lavender Lattes served at the nationwide chain and wanted to try them at home on my home machine. If you do this, beware, the smallest of drops will adequately flavor a normal (16 - 20 ounce) latte! This is very potent. When used in small enough amounts, it is very good in its flavor. I wish it came with a very small dropper. I think this small bottle will last years for my purposes.

I have been using another brand for years, but wouldn't receive it in time for my Lavender Cookies. This one is good, but strong!!! I diluted it by adding vanilla to it. Much better.

I take 8 drops in my coffee and 8 drops at night in my honey coconut milk. I sleep well and it helps with motility too.
