Having several large community residential gardens to maintain for the elderly I needed a quality value for money sturdy heavy duty garden multi-tool. Having researched and compared various makes of garden multi-tools based on the jobs needs I have to carry out I decided on buying the BU-KO 52cc Long Reach Petrol Garden Multi Tool. My order was tracked and I was kept informed of its transit and arrived speedily on-time, well packaged and undamaged. All the parts and attachments were as described and in the box, I also ordered the three extra long reach extension poles which delivered on time with the BU-KO multi tool. This is some serious heavy duty piece of gardening kit and everything needed to maintain the gardens and more. From the included gardening gloves, ear protectors, to chain-saw and eye protector glasses, extension pole, brush cutter and 12 month warranty this kit has it all. The instruction book was clearly written and easy to follow so set up and use of attachments is straight forward. Having added the correct petrol/oil mix the engine fired into life after 3/4 pulls. The 52cc engine is double that of most other engine brand units and easily copes with the toughest garden tasks with minimum effort. I used the hedge trimmer and with its option to angle the cutter blades and added extension poles I was able to trim the tops of the huge hedges without the need to keep going up and down ladders. Due to the position of the petrol pipes in the fuel container it is possible to use the unit turned on its side for cutting hedge fronts. Next I used the strimmer attachment and again due to the sturdy manufacture and the powerful 52cc motor the strimmer cut through the long grasses with ease and in no time at all. In conclusion this is a very well made heavy duty piece of kit and makes the biggest gardening tasks easier. Although a heavy weight to hold for long periods of work and will need to clip to the safety harness to take the weight this is a real value for money product.. Recommended 😊 18.09.2019

I bought this product to clear an embankment of blackthorn brambles and roses. I bought a separate blade which was recommended on a YouTube video as being particularly suited to clearing small trees. It did a fantastic job. The engine is powerful and waltzed through trees up to 1.5 to 2 inches diameter. Larger trees were pretty easily dispatched too. The engine started very easily and is powerful. The fuel tank gives a good amount of time for operating. The machine is quite comfortable once secured on its harness and once balanced didn't feel too heavy, even when climbing the embankment. The machine came pretty quickly and contained basic gloves, ear defenders and eye protection, however i invested in a helmet with built in visor and ear defenders. You have most of what you need to get going short of fuel and 2 stroke oil. You'll also need chainsaw oil. Only niggles are the harness attachment to the machine would i feel be better if it were clamped firmly rather than being allowed to rotate. The filler cap is right under the pull cord which seems a bit silly. The shafts will slide out of the poles so be careful! But so far after a hard weekends work, i'm really happy with it. Time will tell how durable it is but after a couple of intensive weekends of clearance work it hasn't missed a beat and still feels taught and good quality. If you want a first Brush cutter, i would recommend starting with this one.

Bought it specifically as it had the Metal 40T Blade, nearly all multi tools only come with the 3T brush cutter and I needed to remove a huge amount of bamboo that had grown into our garden. it was savage work but the machine coped very well. Compared to previous multi tools I have bought it is very powerful. Can't fault the amount you get with it. It came mostly assembled, a few bits to do but nothing onerous. Started relatively easy and more importantly started easily when used and you turned off for a few mins. Objectives things to note. It is heavy, heavier than other multi tools I have used. Previous multi tools I have had I haven't bothered with the harness as they were light. I am using the harness with this which is not the worst and actually handy to have. Be careful with the tightening nut. When you clip a tool into the main chamber there is the locking point but you also have the tightened handle. This is connected into the bar via a nut but this nut isn't locked in place. I untightened 1st day and went back and nut was gone. Thankfully I have a box of nuts and the size is standard so replaced myself but be careful don't spin the handle too far. Have used strimmer, chainsaw, extension, in 3 weeks owned I have used everything and no complaints!

UPDATE: Eventually we managed to insert another pole using spray grease and a lot of force. We were then able to try out the cutting blade which was quite effective, however, when it came to fitting the strimmer, well that was another story. The nut inside the unit fell off and rattled around and so we had to take it apart to try and fit the nut, no luck. In the end with the tool in so many bits, we decided the best thing to do was to bin it. It's best to buy tools individually, rather than these awful multitools, just too much hassle. Pros Good engine with plenty of power, and easy to start. Lots of attachments which cover just about every need when sorting out the garden. Cuts through branches easily enough. No other pros because I could only use the chainsaw, nothing else fits, see cons. Cons Well, the chainsaw was the first, and only attachment I could use. First use and the chain kept jumping off. I read, and re-read the instructions but could not stop the chain coming off eventually it ripped through the cover and is no use. I decided to put another attachment on, no way. Obviously after slackening off the clamp and pulling out the stopper, I expected the pole to just slide out, but no, it was stuck fast. It took a mallet to remove the chainsaw attachment from the pole. Then I tried to connect another attachment, but it is just too stiff, I cannot get another pole in the clamp. All told, a useless bit of kit. I wouldn't recommend this product as it is not fit for purpose. It's a shame because it could be very good, but as the attachments don't connect, it is useless.

Great unit. Lots of different attachments . Easy to use, just remember to use the harness as not the lightest. But very durable.

Purchasded this item in June 2020 after reading good reviews. Delighted with it. It's easy to use although does become a bit unlwieldy when using the extension tube which makes the whole thing about 7 feet long! Can't complain about that though - it's partly why I bought it - so I could trim the top of a very high hedge. However, after a month away, I went to use it and it would not start. After a bit of research, I found out that this was because mixed 2-stroke fuel goes off after about 4 weeks which is why it would not start. It would have been good if that was mentioned in the instruction manual. Wanting advice, I tried phoning the seller, left several messages, emailed and no reply whatsoever which I though was very poor. I ended up having to take the machine to a local garden machinery place which cost me £60! This is down to my ignorance and nothing to do with the machine which is now working brilliantly again but the complete lack of response from the sellers for advice would certainly put me off buying from them again. Machine 5 stars, seller 1 star!

I had been considering buying a garden multitool for some time and after some research settled on the BU-KO long reach 52cc petrol model from Amazon. I was surprised when the product arrived next day!! Unfortunately, 2 parts were missing on arrival, but having contacted the UK phone number to report same, the parts were immediately sent and arrived, again, next day. The instruction manual is very comprehensive, making assembly and initial operation really easy. The checklist on maintenance and care is simple and easy to follow. I need to cut down a relatively large area of overgrown garden and decided to use the 3 tooth blade because I thought the strimmer would struggle. Great decision! In a couple of hours I had cleared the area. It took a little while to get the harness adjusted to suit me, but once done, it was comfortable. The chain saw worked very efficiently and moving between attachments is easy. I'm very pleased with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending the Bu-KO Multitool. First, let's get the downside out of the way - with the extension pole on the hedge cutter, it is rather heavy on the business end! That said, it does do a great job of cutting the hedge and it is easy enough to get the top level. I have several trees in my garden and the chainsaw attachment makes easy work of branches up to about four inches thick. It might cut thicker but I don't have need of anything bigger, just make sure you're not standing underneath the branch when it falls! The engine has started first or second pull every time - up to yet! Just make sure you get the petrol/oil ratio correct, as two-stroke engines can be temperamental. The strimmer attachment is excellent, and makes short work of weeds of all sizes. I thought I might need the bush cutter to clear an overgrown patch but the strimmer managed perfectly well. One word of warning. Remember to fill the oil reservoir on the chainsaw, and grease the nipples on the hedge trimmer before use. The direction in the booklet are not particularly clear.
